A Thread in Honor of Us!

I just felt like dedicating a thread to all us huge Political Forum post-whores and all the craziness we've been through. Luckily this forum is still alive, and hopefully we can keep it that way. Congratulations to all!

Luckily? Lots of people post here. We may someday even surpass the Humor section.... Someday....

congrats to all the posters here!! One of the few forums I actually sit back and admire when reading some of the posts. I applaud those that argue with some sense, instead of talking out of their biased ass hehe.

Meelch mike has a sig designed to stir trouble, and many times in the past has prooved that he has absolutely no knowledge of trance, and is just here to spread his political views. Until a few weeks ago it would seem he hadnt even heard of Armin Van Buuren.

First of all, mike is voicing his opinion in his sig, and I'm pretty sure he's entitled to that. Second, I'm sick of your "well if you have been on the boards this long..." lines. I've surfed the boards for months before joining and I've seen plenty of offensive signatures. Besides, you're the only person who seems to be bothered by mike's sig. That is why I feel you are stirring up trouble. Everyone else lives with it.

So basically you've chosen to reply to certain parts of my post - but left out the major point - being, do you really think that someone with absolutly no interest in trance should spend time polluting a trance board with political propaganda?

Believe me many, many people are pissed off with meelch_mikes posts, and probably his sig - they just cant be arsed to post anymore. In a few weeks I will have gotten bored of him and there will be other people arguing with him - which is what always happens.

I can rememeber several times in the past where his sigs/avatar have been removed due to being offensive - if the mods could be arsed anymore they would still be doing it.

The sigs/avatars were not removed, but people asked others to take it down due to offensive stuff. Actually mike had one that offended Drummeraver.

Anyway, so what if he doesn't listen to trance? You don't need to just to post here. I know people who only post in the humor section and never post in music discussion or whatever, so it's not like they must be forced to listen to trance.

Actually i believe in the past mods have removed offensive sigs/avatars of his - i hate to say it, but BEFORE YOU JOINED .

Just had a quick look:
77.3% of Meelech_Mike's posts have been in Political discussion
0.4% of Meelech_Mike's posts have been in Music Discussion (3 Posts)

4% of my posts have been in Political Discussion
36% of my posts have been in Music Discussion (441 Posts)

So seriously, which of us two is here to chat about the subject matter of the board (Trance), and who is just here to cause trouble in the political section?

Kind of ... some of the mods were against it from the get go. Some were itching to get rid of it after the majority of the flaming started. I think there's a thread a couple months ago petitioning people to stop the flaming so the forum wouldn't get dropped.
