But of the ones on the list - Scooter.

Posted by DarkFall01 on Jun-20-2003 22:41:

I would have to say Dj Encore, that's past cheesy

Posted by vmc on Jun-21-2003 09:04:

Scooter. Those guys rip off trance classics and add all their cheese to it to make a new hit.

never heard of Jan Wayne though

Posted by Disney on Jun-21-2003 17:26:

Jan Wayne is soooooo bad.

The people who haven't heard him would immediatly change their vote if they would listen to 5 minutes of Jan Wayne!

But don't go lookin' for his tracks now, cause your brain will be ruined forever. And worse, your non TA friends may like hist stuff and it will become popular where you live....

And then all hope is lost!

i was intrigued as to how shitty jan wayne could be, but now i am scared to listen to it.. probably is the ultimate fromage.. but since i haven't actually heard it i would have to say it is a toss up between dj sammy and scooter..

Posted by daydreamer on Jun-22-2003 00:09:

scooter, never heard of jan wayne and i am going to keep that way.

Posted by Sand Leaper on Jun-22-2003 14:17:

Scooter did some good stuff way back in the day,Ian van Dahl - Nights On Java is a good tune,so was Castles In The Sky before it got cheesed out,Lasgo and Encore are just boring(but have been remixed to great effect),that goes for DJ Sammy as well, plus he ain't that bad as a dj either. What's left is Jan Wayne with his godawful 80s trance remakes full of horrible cheese synths and dreary vocals. Guess who gets my vote.

Sammy and Scooter are quite nice compared to mr. Wayne

But it's good to know that I saved someone from Jan Wayne!

I totally hear you. I remember one of their songs I liked, then I heard Madagascar and thought man someone was ripped off here.

Honestly before that though, the stuff from their first few albums is what got me into electronic music in the first place. Some of it's not that bad but anything in the last 5 or so years have been terrible.

Posted by Hitman on Jun-25-2003 17:57:

Jan Wayne by a mile!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't even put that cheese in a mousetrap, out of respect for the mouse

Posted by twizta on Jun-25-2003 18:16:

Heh, i agree with you. I still like some of the old Scooter stuff from the era of their first 2 albums, 95-96. But anyway, Jan Wayne gets my vote for cheese.
