Broardband vs new mixer?
i hope this is the rite forum...
hey. got a bit of a problem, within the next week i was going to get broadband. in the back of my mind i knew i wanted a new mixer as well, but the only one i wanted was the pioneer djm600. and at 699 it would take a while to save up for. so i thought id go for broadband so i can dl songs faster n live dj sets and stuff.
but now i got a problem, the behringer djx700 (i cant remember the exact name) its the one thats identical to the pioneer DJM600. apart from its less then half the price......
so now im stuck, do i get that new mixer (behringer) or do i get broadband? help me please
well i'm not sure how u survived this long on dialup, but im thinkin if u made it this far, u most not have much use for broadband as of yet.. once u actually go broadband, u'll never go back, but i don't see how the cost of broadband parallels the price of a mixer, is service really friggin' expensive where u live?
yea. all internet is kinda expensive in england. expacialy broadband. but the one im goin on in the cheapest in the uk, but i still have to pay the conection fee and buy the high speed modem. im sick of dial up now lol. but all in all with all the costs there wont b that much in it.
heh, If I were you... I'd first get the broadband. Like you alrdy sayd: you can get alot of songs and dj setts... I remember when I had dial up too, what kind of trouble downloading 1 mp3 was... Piece of cake now...
Allthough... the djx700 is kinda tempting... I've seen it, it really looks good... This really is a though dilemma... Aren't there any alternatives? I mean, don't you have DSL in england, maybe that's cheaper...?
You sure you want the DJX700... I bought the vmx300 yesterday, 50 cheaper and I like it alot (it has those kill switches, can't stay away from them
)...
Get broadband. It blows dial-up clean out of the water.
What about looking at other ISPs? I got a free modem with BTopenworld.
The only time I'd suggest getting a mixer before getting broadband was if you didn't have a mixer
Well, or maybe if you weren't a net user
Finally, don't buy the mixer without going to a shop and actually mixing with it and playing with it. I'm not picking on the Behringer mixer, I just advise this for all equipment.
