hey, i finally got #8 in my DJ comic series done with MSPaint for ya. check it out...this one is for anyone who likes trance, not just for djs.

that's me asking to hear trance. haha hey drawing myself is easy.

even though thats funny, there is a lot of crappy forumlaic trance that anyone could write out there. and there is also a lot of good hip hop.

but for the most part, it's still pretty true, and a funny comic

remember when i asked u about the indian guy attacking the dj jus cuz the dj was staring at the indian guy's sister. will u ever make it for me please??? i was attacked several times with beer bottles flying beside my head. i ws attacked cuz i was staring at the ladies.

ehh..i really dont mean to burst everybody's bubble, and I know it's a comic, but I find irony in the comic that it's supposed to expose trance, yet shuns "hip hop" by using generic lyrics like dere dem hoes or whatever.
Just like how there are some crap producers out there who really can be behind a computer for an hour and produce a really shitty track, it's not fair to judge "hip hop" with this comment.
Try replacing it raps and it works. Otherwise, this comic seems to be a the end of it's own joke, if you ask me.

it's a comic i drew, supposed to be funny, and clearly everyone thinks it is, except for you. i didn't try to include any deep meanings in it. so stop looking.

so i guess i'll spell it out for you. most people think trance is easy to make. most people don't like trance. they seem to like hip hop the most (at least where i am from) and they consider it to be the greatest music ever. so the joke is, the guy says how stupid trance is and he'd rather hear hip hop, while he turns on the radio and it plays the dumbest lyrics ever written , in *surprise!* a hip hop song.

of course there are bad trance songs and good hip hop songs, and the other way around. you don't think i know that? if i thought all trance was genius i wouldn't be much of a dj would i. but you wouldn't be much of one either if you don't understand that hip hop can be just as dumb as most people's misconception of trance.

and that is a real hip hop song.

Again, I'm not trying to pry too deep...it's just a damn comic. I just didn't find it funny because of that whole hip hop thing. I'm a really avid and huge fan of hip hop, and it pisses me off when people don't realize what hip hop is, moretheless, people who diss it coming from other genres, in this case, trance.
I know your not dissing hip hop, but really, lets try and leave the stereotypes of music out of comedy, cuz on this board, it rarely is. Most of the time, it turns into bitter flame wars between ignorant fuckheads and the rest.(check out the "Hip Hop Lovers Post Here" thread...give me a head count on how many ignorant posts, or ignorant members there are)

Very true. Again, like I said, I'm not trying to bash you or hate on your comics, but I've seen so many stereotypes and ignorant comments dumped on hip hop that I've come to a point where anything that remotley resembles a bad image of hip hop ticks me off.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm not a big fan of your comics, but it seems that everybody else is, so keep up the good work
