I got one of those freebie tickets about a month ago
It was a pretty good atmosphere. They'll get to the world series but pitching will once again be there downfall, just like every season in the past decade. They're a very entertaining team though, the three hours - four hours went by in a snap. I think they'll end off the season with a pretty good record at least, maybe even tie nyc
if they didn't lose last night they would have been tied with boston.
we shall see.

Screw the Blow Jays. Go Yankees!! Yes that's right...I'm a Yankee fan, through and through. Always have been (since the days of Don Mattingly in the late 80's) and always will be!

I've been a dedicated Jays fan, even before the 92 and 93 seasons.

Jays are kicking ass this year. They just slipped into second ahead of Boston.

Gotta respect the Jays tho, they play in the toughest division around.

<- Mild jays fan. I'm one of those "watch when they're winning, hate them while they're losing" types tho!!!

The Jays have been my fav since I was born!!!!!! WOOOOOOT
92-93 season was amazing I saw so many games that year!

KarateKid

OK .. BLUE JAYS ..

i hope they win .. for the city's sake !

I'm a huge jays fan, back from when I was a little kid catching games at exhibtion stadium, good times.....Jesse Barfield, George Bell, Kelly Gruber etc, etc.

Jays won't win this year but it will be very entertaining. Their hitting won't last forever, think about it, even Greg Myers is tearing it up. When we get Hinski back it should be fun. I see us trading for some pitching soon. As much as I love Shannon Steward, he's going to be traded this year. We're too deep in the outfield.

Jays fan since I was born .. watched games since '89 and have attended at least 3 or 4 ballgames per year ..

this year they probably won't win but they surely will be the surprise in the East

I hate the Jays....but they're a pretty good team right now and I can see them getting better and better over the next 1 or 2 seasons. You Jays fans might have yourselves another World Series before too long....but not before my Yankees win it once or four times again.

All i gotta say is The DOC and Delgado own all..
halladay is only like the 3rd pitcher since the start of the nineties to pitch 11 straight wins. Its still way to early to be yelling world series....hell stll early to be yelling play offs...base ball is the hardest of the amercain sports to make the playoffs and the jays dont have an easy ticket with the yankees and sox in their division.

im thrilled their doing so well....i say someone post this again in september when their either leading the division, or fighting for wildcard. Then ...and only then can we afford to get excited

Football is boring pish posh....especially the Superbowl. What a commercialised joke that is!! Besides....if you want a really rough sport, then watch rugby. Football copied rugby anyway.

Hockey, Soccer, Baseball and Golf......that's where it's at. Bah to football and basketball.

Alex Gonzalez (6 strikeouts in one game- thats a record)!
Chris Carpenter (you just suck BIG TIME)
Homer Bush

He had to get rid of Loiaza, he wanted too much cash, and i knew he was going to have a good season.

I hate all Toronto teams including the Leafs, Jays and Argonauts. I couldn't really give a rats ass about the Raptors though.

In hockey, I'm a Habs fan....in baseball, I'm a Yankee fan. We're both enemies of the Toronto teams. Another thing that bothers me about the jays is that their fans are so fickle. They were selling out in the World Series years but could barely manage 15,000 per game the last few seasons when they were shitty. Now they're getting better and their attendance records are going up again. The Yankees were complete shit in the mid to late 80's and their fans still showed up to Yankee stadium every game in droves.

Anyway, I've been a Habs and Yanks fan all my life so don't start saying I'm the one who's jumping on the bandwagon.
