Who invited the word Trance?

Hey Guyz!

Does anyone of u know who invited the word Trance in connection with music?

it was me, when i was 3 years old i heard this unknown beat and it got me into trance. thus the name trance

but seriously, i don't think anyone can give u that answer, it's prolly been given by hundreds of people at the same time

Its obvious. In the beginning of time.. well, back then, people used to get all high and crap.. the Hippies ya know.. in the Goa etc etc.. and hence the beats and everything, how the music flowed, it took people into a higher stat of altered conciousness - Trance.

trance isnt a made up word, perhaps it was the state the music used to produce

i dunno raelly. i heard a interview with some memeber of Led Zepplin and he said that although he didnt know it at the time, the band had engaged in a new kind of music called "trance-music." silly hippies. but when i heard Led Zepplin, i dont think of trance :-\
