Tranceaddicts T-Shirts Decided

I probably speak on behalf of the majority in saying that we have decided on Bassaholix design for the front of the tranceaddicts t-shirts along with the Armin design of auta for the back.

This leaves us with the very difficult job of actually producing these t-shirts. I know that both nixter and bassaholix know places where we can get them done, its just a matter of asking around for the best price and then gathering everyones $$$ so that the t-shirts can be made.

What is the best course of action at this stage I dont know !lol but I think we need a group of willing ta's who will take the appropriate course of action and get these t-shirts made. I am more than willing to help out anyone, so basically what do you guys suggest ?

I like the idea of VW handling distros. That way it can be AU wide, centerlised, and all costs can be done over the net.

Shirt wise, time to get sizes?

Logo wise, time to get correct sizes/ratios drawn up?

agree... I will discuss it with Reemo (Jeremy) tomorrow.

Yeah I think distro though VW is gold. We can all send tem our money, they pass it on to whoever is actaully getting the shirts done, shirts get sent back to VW and VW distribute.... or is that too complicated?

Posted by Sid on Jun-24-2003 13:59:

that seems like an awesome idea, can you guys organise printing and stuff ?

I can organise the printing and t-shirts. Now that weve decided on the designs, i can get a more precise quote tomorrow. But i suggest a couple people get quotes and we go with the best offer.

pimp and i were looking at getting some shirts done earlier this year but haven't had time to do it. good to see this post though. i did some research (shopping around) and got a quote from a screenprinter here in syd. it gives us some idea of what you're looking at costwise.

quote:
Quote from Bullseye Design & Print:

S Colour (Base + CYMK) onto 4 blank shirts...

set up costs cheque $450 + GST
set up costs cash $355
print 4 black Ts cheque $25 each + GST
print 4 black Ts cash $20 each

*Includes seperations, films, screens, etc.

other notes:

- shirts are 180 g double stitch ($4.50 per shirt). we can use our own shirts, but i doubt we can find any the same quality for cheaper.
- cheaper on white. less $55 on setup. shirt cost same.
- $200 deposit required
- printing done in 2-3 days.
- cash or cheque only (preferably cash)

if we have...

10 shirts => $55.50 each ($355/10 + $20)
15 shirts => $43.70 each
20 shirts => $37.75 each
50 shirts => $27.10 each

the more shirts we print, the cheaper it is per unit.

Ok great, will make another thread just for orders.
However I need some ideas about how we are going to collect the money and then how we are going to distribute the shirts. So I will need some help with this.
Also Im going need the front and back artwork to scale in an eps file. Not the most clued when it comes to computers so assistance would be great.
