Lost Tribe - Gamemaster 2003...

what did you guys think of it??? personally i thought that it was alright, but didn't top the original. it had lots of energy, but i think too often when tunes are redone...they just make it more powerful and expect it to be huge. so what did you guys think of it???

for those of you that don't know what i'm talking about...armin played matt darey's new version of gamemaster in the last ASOT...

i enjoyed it. it's hard for remakes to outdo the original since the original is the original which gives you that feeling of hearing a great song for the very first time instead of just a remake

true. I agree though, i thought that it was pretty good. i think that the sample of it that i heard was pretty distorted since i'm sure it was recorded at higher volume hehehe...

The song is like 5 years old. Is there a version that came out this year that youre refering to?

Siiiiiiick. I was wondering when Matt Darey is gonna come out with something new. So is Armin's last ASOT the only place I can find the song? If so, what's the episode's date?

i love it. the original owns all over it, but the new remix is wicked! will be great to inject new life into all those tranceheads that loved this track back in '97

this is the song that got me into trance. it's the most expensive track i've every bought on vinyl, and quite possibly one of the most influential songs in my life.

if it weren't for this track, i'd probably be doing coke at a marilyn manson concert and dying my hair black still.

The gamemaster lyric is a tough one to get, but what it means is, master of the game, master of your own domain.

I bet people went nuts when they heard the "Ahhh Ah Ah Ahhhh" Voice that gets nearer & nearer and then BOOM break down and "like a priceless jewel..." Bet this was off the hook :P nice song but not as good as the good ol' original / signum.

Okay, I just finished listening to it and it's alright, original is much better though in my opinion. I haven't heard Signum's mix yet...
