Guardians Of Earth - Starchildren (Paul van Dyk Rework)

From the tail end of his Rosenmontags set from 2002.

Fucking hell.

Great tune.

Now given that its a PvD rework, I wont be naive and ask "Has it been released", cos Paul himself probobly has the only CDR locked up in a secure vault somewhere with access to Fort Knox being easier to crack.

So has anyone ever reconstructed this??? And since the original was released, how does it compare to PvD's version?? Is there much difference between the two, or is this a complete makeover Paul did???

Just download the original and see for urself. Its fucking awful. All Paul really did was take the shit parts out of the original and as a result we are left with one of my all time fav tracks.

This appears almost in full on TPoD too...

As has been said, you could also easily 'reconstruct' it by just cutting off the back half of the original mix in Soundforge...

i hope you're being sarcastic here.. it's the other way around in my opinion! the main melody was so uplifting, and what pvd did was cut it out, copy the build-up, pasted it behind the original build-up, leaving us with a boring track without a climax! in my opinion..
