Help save Electronic music in Vancouver...!!!

There is only one radio show in my city that plays electronic music called VELOCITY. It is on Saturday nights from 10 until 2am or something like that. They play all sorts of music, but mainly progressive stuff and trancy stuff. For example they played as the rush comes and many other solid tunes that we all know and love last show.
Anyway, the radio station that the show is aired on is a metal station. This statin thinks that there arent enough listeners so they are thinking of scrapping it. They told us to email the site and give them support because if we can get 1000 responses then the program wil be saved. i dunno if that will happen, but it would be nice if you guys can help out!

I really don't want this to happen because Vancouver NEEDS an electronic show, let alone an entire station.

So heres where you guys come in. I was hoping that you could send an email to either this adress: [email protected][/email] (which is the adress of the Station Manager & Program Director) or here: [email][email protected] Leave your name and just leave a little message like "KEEP VELOCITY ON THE AIR!"

We need to keep this program running. It is my only link to dance music (besides Tiesto.com and TA.net of course )

We may know it but the rockers that run the station have their heads to far up their asses to see it. SHOW THEM!!!!!

damn, 2 stations devoted to pop/cheezerap 24/7 and we can't even get 4 hours of electronica for 1 night? Van has a shit trance/prog following, i duno if much has changed since i left but i remember i could not find ONE club that played any type of electronica bsides funky house

yeah, im in.. i havent been listening to it lately tho....
but last weekend i heard that they played a Tiesto set. on of my friends was all like "uhh yeah, they played a set from your dj. dj tee-stoe or something" hopefully it will expose more ppl to the wonders of electronic music

Thanks for the support guys. Every email counts!

We need to keep the show alive to showcase the music that we love. It's so dissapointing because there are 3 rock stations, 2 rap stations and numerous pop stations here in Vancouver abd yet we can't keep a 4 hr program running. There is a love for electronic stuff here but it still seems to be so damn underground.
