I must yell at my manager about this.. I set G&D up with Code's booking dammit...if code screwed it up they are morons
Glow prolly agreed to pay them more or something...damnit...Nation would be a way better venue for them...Im really starting to abhor going to Glow

actually, they were all supposed to play @ Glow, but Glow didn't feel that JOOF would be worth it since the last time he played there the night was extremely slow, so Glow passed on him and Code took him.

and no offense, but the code crowd is just leftovers from Buzz and I highly doubt G&D would get a better response there. Just based on Glow's ability to pack the club I forsee it being a very good night.

Glow is just trying to save face with that excuse you gave...trust me, more people would come for J00f than for G&d, they wouldnt turn him down

wow dude. wtf is your problem? You are talking out of your ass if you think the glow crowd will not appreciate G&D. an empty room? yeah right. the only empty room that night might be a code buddy. I'm pretty sure the glow crowd has received every new dj very well. I personally happen to like the Glow crowd. So if you don't, and want to continue to whine and bitch about it, then just stay the hell at home, and leave the clubbing for the people who really enjoy it!

dude, true, there might be a few cool ppl/ TA's up front near the DJ booth who actually know and respect the music, but on most nights, the majority of ppl. there are tools who could care less about the music and hang out around the bars unfortunatley...and most of their staff are real bitches...and their soundsystem blows, among other things.
I used to like Glow, and rave about it...but I realize now I only did so because I hadn't had much experience with other clubs. Now that I have been to several others, I can say, Glow sucks.
Their DJ booth setup is the only thing I like about them, because it is quite personal and intimate...other than that, its pretty crappy.

this is great news! kinda. its great that G&D are coming to DC, but i would have much rather seen them perform at nation cuz there is just so much room there. glow wont be too packed since they are not on a pvd/tiesto or even avb level yet, but it will be a great night nonetheless. and beema, i am feeling u on wut u said about u starting to "abhor" going to glow. the venue just cannot compare to nation.
