apparently it IS the rage
at least that's what armin's website has as location

who's behind this party?

Posted by lizarazu on Jun-28-2003 03:31:

Great, I'm guessing it'll be another show at The Joint where only those 18 and older can attend

Once again.... does anybody have any fake IDs?

Posted by Warez Guy on Jun-28-2003 04:16:

Doh.. we'll figure something out

Great. Seeing DJ's in clubs rather then raves is so much better. Although i've never been to the Rage.

dont forget this time justin

the rage is pretty nice actually, i liked it when ferry played. the dj booth is pretty low, so we can harass the DJ again hehehe. some dink on clubvibes called kim and me groupies after the ferry show :P

im guessing the tickets wont go on sale till 3-4 weeks before the show, most probably at the usual record shops

sean, can you get some of your resident DJs who will not be going to see armin to take care of viva?

I can certainly try =P I'll need to be there for at least part of the night, but if I could book it to the rage for midnight that'd be ideal of course.

I think I'll have to catch him this time around.

Posted by MrMiyagi on Jul-03-2003 19:16:

(NOTE: IM NOT THE PROMOTER)

For those that missed him this past April at Twisted 2003 in his first visit to Vancouver, comes a very special 19+ event to welcome him back...

So mark your calendars now:
Friday, August 8th, 2003

Sponsored in part by Benson & Hedges, Twisted Productions and The Cave (formerly The Rage nightclub) is proud to present:

Armin van Buuren (Netherlands - Armind, ID&T, Black Hole, Vandit, Ministry of Sound, www.arminvanbuuren.com)

Whatever can be said about him, not much can do justice for this DJ superstar that is ranked in the TOP 5 IN THE WORLD. Born in Leiden, Holland (The Netherlands), Armin has been driven to produce music since he first heard Dutch Master Mixer Ben Liebrand at the age of 14. He describes his musical style as euphoric, uplifting, melodic and energetic. At his current young age, Armin's career as a producer, in itself, has the capability to deem him as a global remixing and musical genius of the 21st century. As one of the three Dutch trance figures alongside artists Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, and working with world renowned DJ's like Paul van Dyk, he has produced numerous hits that have made a lasting impact on almost every European Electronic Music Chart since 1995. Some of the tracks you may know include Blue Fear, the Sound of Goodbye, Communication, Touch Me, and Exhale. In addition, Armin's DJ career has been nothing less than phenomenal as he rocks crowds at ID&T, Cream, Slinky, Peach, Dance Valley and Gatecrasher, and in cities like Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Jerusalem, Helsinki, Ibiza, and Moscow on a continual basis. Armin's fan base is unbelievable as aspiring DJ's and partiers alike profess their loyalty to his progressive style.

Cost: $25CDN/ticket
* Stay tuned for further details on when/where tickets will be released!

Cheers.
