URGENT excuse(s) for skipping work
ok let me explain why I need to find an excuse for skipping work and why it's so important that I have to ask you guys...
1. I'm working this temporary job , now they won't fire me cause they won't find someone qualified easily they were searching for "me" for months ( they need a french speaker at my job and it's impossible to find that here )....... but because it's a temp job I can't take days off just like that without reason ( oh and yeah they're thinking I'm temp worker to hire ) ( they could fire me for not showing up but off course I'd have to tell them I had something happen )
2. I'm actually going to Switzerland to go before a school commitee to see if they'll let me in ....; I cannot let my job know I'm going because of a school cause they think I'll still be working there in the upcoming months ( if I get accepted I'll be leaving in august and they don't know that ) ( they want me to work there permanently )
WHAT EXCUSE CAN I GIVE MY JOB FOR LEAVING TWO DAYS ???? It has to be something extremely important to justify my leaving .......
I was thinking to say I have a funeral over there .... that sounds urgent enough and justifies the time away ...
HELP ME OUT GUYS I know this sounds retarded but I really don't know what to tell them

-you are getting an emergency circumsision because the skin around your dink has been inflamed due to a virus as you had unprotected sex
-a funeral (this can get you out for a couple hours, maybe it wont work in your case)
-you have suffered a myocardio infraction (heart attack) due genetic reasons

say you have SARS.
yeah, say a relative of yours that lives there died and you are
obligated to go to the funeral as it is a family emergency,
or
you can say a relative is really sick with a terminal illness and
no one knows how long they'll live, so you want to see him/her
while you still can and your family is going now so its your only
chance...
I'll go for the funeral stuff
Your aunt is ill and needs you.
invent a religion that requires you to go to Switzerland for a few days.
say your grandmother is ill. works everytime.
Either...
1. You caught SARS
2. May have AIDS from sex with me <3
I'm stuck in the blood pressure machine down at the Safeway.
The voices told me I need to buy 4 live chickens immediately.
I have cramps.
Seriously though, I wouldn't use the "my grandmother is dying" line--it's too common. Instead, just ask for some personal time. Maybe your long-distance girlfriend is flying in from Vermont, or your Dad--whom you haven't seen for a while--is coming into town for a couple days. Best of luck with the interview.

u stuck ur penis into the vacum cleaner and the fan took a chunk of it..u must fly to switzerland where a doctor named dr. shabubu will reattach it for 5 dollars less with a coupon u found on the street while u were walking ur dog to the train station..
why were u walking ur dog to the train station? cause he had worms and u had to take a train to canada to find a certain plant in the wilderness that would cure ur dogs worms and ur achy breaky heart...
why did u have an achy breaky heart? cause ur dog had worms
see and now ur already off the main reason why u need 2 days off
I have used this excuse to great response in even strict no truancy work environments. This reason is... No reason. Tell them something very personal has come up, you would like to explain but simply cannot. Ask them to trust you- that these are VERY extenuating (sp?) circumstances, and that although your job is important to you, some things are more important than work. Leave it at that; they can draw their own conclusions, and will likely think of an excuse that would be legitimate to them, but that you wouldn't have thought of.
Definately steer clear of the ill grandmother. Stale.

just say you got lost on your way to work and ended up going on a 2 day mystical adventure, bring the boss back a present and you might still have your job

Tell them you have jury duty, and as with any case, it could last days depending on the trial
