George Hales - Kyoto (MK-S Remix) Unmastered Clip

Hey guys..

I decided to do a remix of George's rather tasty track Kyoto.. I decided to take it in a slightly different direction, working around the string pattern from the original.. and well, you can check out how it sounds.

Sounds very nice fair play mate. infact i reckon it rivals the original.

the notes at the start sound like something else that i cant think of atm, a MIKE track i think. def not a bad thing.

i really like all the different sounds u use to add atmosphere, like the bleeps b4 the strings and such. thats somethin thats always missing from my own productions and im jelous of!

i love the swirling effects on the pads/strings sound fuckin awesome and give the track some real character.

only real criticism i have of the track is the piano notes in the break are maybe a little quiet and the bassline should maybe be a little more prominant, tho id need to hear a full version to determine that.

Great work mate, keep it up

Thanks alot guys

I definitely need to work in the bassline department Ravemonkeh, you're right. i'll see what i can do about the piano too.

omg. really, just, omg. niiiiiiice pads man! and nice work with those pianos and FX! I think the some of the hihats are leveled a bit too high. other than that, choooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon!

9.8/10

-nic-

A very dramatic and well-done production. I'm actually listening now and enjoying it.

Unfortunately you introduce the main theme too soon IMHO you should tease the listener with something simple or a bit more repetitive in the beginning. But then the song is only 4:30..

wicked wicked wicked

one thing I would change however would be the double kick on the end of each 16 beat sequence, I think it takes away from the epicness of the track.

Love Poundin' Sensation

this is sooo good
only thing you need to work on is the bassline, like DJRavemonkey said. the rest.. sooo beautiful!
