Because I looooove u - mix of old love song

I heard this song on a techno radio how they have on some dance radio station every Saturday nite. Anyway, I heard this remix of an older slow song, a song from the early '90's. I was trying to copy down some of the words, but I was driving... so it was hard. Anyway, it was a guy singing, and here's what I got out of it...the 1st verse said something about a letter (like recieving mail) and then "so I wrote this song for you" then the chorus went... "becaue I looooove you" and some other stuff then again, "because I looooove you. I'll be right by your side." That was all I got... sorry. I was just wondering if you could help me ID this song.
