Of all nights I don't know why Vibe choose a Wed. to host a GlobalUnderground Official Party, but I'll be there anyway.

I beleive the tickets are 12 bucks. Howells should be nice.

Doubt many from TA will be there, but the Jax/G-ville folks might find it worth it.

We've actually got electronic music nights Mon, Teus, Thurs, Dri, & Sat. now. I'm so proud of GAinesville. Still no Friggin Trance night!!

i really did not expect a thing.. gville scene being so blah and dark house blahey... no trance, etc....
but this show was hardcore progressive latenight insanity.... i had no idea it was only 1230... way crowded tho air didnt work well but the foggers were nice nothinglike space... wow the lights were incredible... you can only do sit like that in a tiny ass club... i wish i had a digital camera... alex you really missed out... i really missed the luxury of having lots of tas tho and knowing that i cold go home and see a tracklist right away....we decided that fox is a veritable library for tracklistings.... welp... that oe will likely remain unknown... unless bo remembers something... i rember hearing something dark and funky vocals like eurhythmics but def not sweet dreams....sigh.... i am psyched to see im in new york... we ended up having to leave about 45 mins early, butwe got there at 11 so we got to see 2 hours and a little bit of amazing howells. seriously tho... you never see shows with this intensity in gville due to the rave law hmm come to think of it, this show, digweed 7/03/01 and crystal method 9/10/01 are my fave gville shows ... okay have to go to bed now... sorry you guys missed out oh and sorry we missed you bo... were you there???

Greg's 2 cents- Phil K was a bad ass show here long ago. Phil K Who you ask? Some Austrailan DJ who smoked really good bud. But WOW Howells Banged it.

i'm suprised this show was that good, and i'm happy for you guys. lets hope it keeps getting better.

i remember a couple months ago gabriel and dresden were in gville, but this was before motorcycle. so maybe, just maybe, gville will once again be a destination for some roadtrips!

I missed ths how last night because I didn't have a ride form out at my house. I live about 20 minutes from downtown. I wante dto go so bad. I was begging everyuone from enation to come get me for gas money & doobie snacks. No takers. So I missed the best show that has been in GAinesville since I've lived here. No problem.

Also, Cynthia, you should get on enation. It's a great local board. Dunno if you may be on it already but thought I'd tell you since you are pretty active around here. Brent was the only other TA on there, I think.

i used to be on enation; actually got brent on to it, and then somehow the server erased my name and i stopped posting... and then another chic started posting named cynthia and i was annoyed... i havent checked in ages, but lst time i did it was a lot of bickering and immaturity and i just stopped checking b/c i was annoyed... but i should every once in a while... mebbie the gville scene will start picking up again... i just got tired of the deep dark house.... its fun for a while but not an entire night.... howells just rocked it! we would have been happy to take you but didnt decide to go until last minute.... i love unexpected shows that kick ass

and FLO!!!!!!!!!! isnt gville a destination for roadtrips b/c greg and i are here.... well be moved in to the new place by the end of july, so prolly b/w summer and fall we are gonna have a little party HOB style

Flo: The board is for all over Florida, but it's best for Gainesville, Orlando, and Jax. It's mostly DnB/House/Breaks/Prog/Underground. Not much Trance, like I said, Brent & I were most of their Trance crew. But it's good for local nights and such. Also good for smaller festivals/events. There is some bickering because of the DJs/owners/promoters from Simons/Vibe/Sky/Bleu being on there. Alot of competition shows up, it's the bottom line of the music scene around here. Sometimes that brings shit, but it's good for info.
How I got guestlist for Edgar & Taylor, so it's good.

I'm hoping the Gainesville scene will start to pick up some. There are some good House and Progressive DJs coming to Vibe's House Fridays. It's been good lately, but nothing crazy. There is talk of some DnB DJs coming to Direction Mondays at Plasma. And Simons is having a mix of Trance/DnB/House played every Saturday night, with occassional guests.

Cynthia, there should really be a good house party or somthing soon. It's friggin Summer.
