DJ Dawn's Hardtrance History ID contest - ID and win!

Hey everybody!
I thought this would be a fun way for everybody to get to know some hardtrance and rave classics.
I posted a mix here: http://www.djdawn.de/muzik/

I will not post a tracklist for now, but instead make a little contest...the tracks are all classics (from my North-Germany point of view) from 92-95. There are 36 tracks in the mix.

Now the first person who IDs 10 of them correctly will recieve a CD with 5 of my Mixes including cue files! WOW, what a price!

But in order to do this, you cannot post your IDs here, but send them to [email protected] (don't forget to mention your TA-name)
I will be a fair judge, as long as you get the artist and song title correctly, the version (mix) isn't so important...
I'll post the number of tracks that people ID'ed correctly here (for example "Blik - 8". If nobody gets 10 after two weeks, I'll put the tracklist up. But I think it's quite possible Now go and get it!!!

What do you think of this?

I think that the tracks are too old for me too ID, they are from 1995 or older, I was 11 back then, so i don't know the songs

guess I won't be winning a price

Hey, that shouldn't be a problem...I can ID some songs of "The Beatles", and I didn't even exist back then
Seriously, if you have some CDs from back then like Rave Mission or Trance Nation (the german one) you might be able to ID some. And if you think you don't know any, you can still dl it just for having another mix that not many other people have...who knows, maybe your new favorite song is in there

@ AlienFactory: you can have your week. As I said, I'll be waiting till June 29th. But you can send me your IDs right away (and send more later), or do you want to surprise me when you got them ALL ???

Ahhh, Edel's Trance Nation, indeed the best compilation ever, but i only have 3 of them and the oldest one is from '96. (Why did they stop releasing it??) But I have a couple of HypnoTrance compilation volumes, from 94 & 95. Hope they can help. I know one song this far, and one artist, but I guess that doesn't make it 1,5 anyway. I'm still working on it.
My biggest fear this far is AndiH, he's German and he's old.

PS:
Make sure to post the tracklist before july 2nd, I'm leaving then. (Vacation).

c'mon. it's not THAT hard...if you've been raving around in holland (?) in '95 you should know a handful of tracks. Check out Alien...he got 4 correct IDs (even one I didn't expect anybody to know), and he's from sweden
If you don't know any of the tracks, do you still like the mix?

btw, the youngesttrack is '95.

ok, for those that had not seen the thread, here it is
Three days left to ID as many tracks as you can and win a CD...
AndiH is still working on it, as well as AlienFactory. This might be a close finish...we will see. For those that didn't know any of the tracks, but still liked the mix, the tracklist will be up on Saturday.

Too bad, the contest was too hard...
I don't want to look like an a**hole, but I'm not giving the price away, this time.
AlienFactory and AndiH, who both looked pretty good in the contest, both quit cause they didn't have enough time to look through their old CDs. But I asked for 10 IDs, and AF got 4. That's just not enough to send a CD to sweden. Maybe next time, I'll ask for 5 IDs.

1.Could have got at least 15 of them
2.Will recognize at least 15, and discover that I have them, when you post the list.

But if 36 tracks are about to represent German hardtrance history, I'm surprised these aren't included:

RMB - Spring
Sunbeam - Outside World
Jens - Loops & Things
Legend B - Lost In Love
Mass In Orbit - Connect

Unforgettable melodies.

And there better be some Dj Hooligan in this mix, even though I didn't notice any. And I'm pretty sure there is material by Shahin Moshirian, Michael Simon and Ramon Zenker in the mix as well.

Let's make a deal, you don't have to send the CD, but send me a good quality copy of the entire track that starts at 08:00, via ICQ.
I have a couple more requests, I'll come back with them later.

I'm sure you could have IDed more. And this mix is NOT meant to include the biggest hardtrance classics. As for those you mentioned, these are great, and some of them are in the next classic mix I'm going to upload. (Damn, you IDed them before I posted the mix!)
And: Yes, there is a Hooligan track in the mix.
And: For IDing the most tracks, you will get the track @ 8:00 as a full rip. Hoooray!

Sorry, no time for the tracklist now, I'll post it later. Promise.
(It's in cue-format and I have to edit it first.)
