Codebreaker is the best

i have the double vinyl on white label.

I have to say pandoro is a quality tune, not really peak time stuff but good all the same.

new time new place is a tad trancey, but is still a supreme tune.

codebreaker i don't like.

but alchemist has to be the most ridiculously bangin tune i've ever heard from this italian duo. it's brilliant.

it is the best ep of 2003 imo.

oh baby. Now that's what I like to hear.

Was majorly disappointed when Mauro got an ear infection right before the Sydney Two Tribes. I was killing to see him live.

Looking forward to hearing the new EP.

Man my friend asked me to pick this up for him this weekend and quite frankly I had no idea what the fuss was about. That was before I heard new time new place, he dropped this for the unappreciative crowd in Houston, I cant wait to get my hands on this.

Awesome EP in every sense of the word. On par with the, well, Awesome EP released a couple years ago.

New Time, New Place

Techno/trance hybrid that boasts a great bassline and distinct warbling melody, this one really flies. It could probably fit in well in a trance set as well as doing peak time duties in a techno or tech house set.

Codebreaker

The lighthearted jaunt is certainly over as Codebreaker makes its presense felt next. Dark, driving techno that comes at you like a runaway train and sounds a lot like one too. Atmospheric and banging -- not an easy feat to accomplish.

Alchemist

The title track doesn't disappoint although I feel it doesn't better the first two tunes. A short techno workout with an incredible raw, industrial-edged lead in the second half. Codebreaker's evil brother and perhaps the track that could do the most damage to a dancefloor. Play loud.

Pandoro

Another change of direction with the final track, Pandoro is a funky, electro-tinged tune with melody lines dissonant enough to keep you off guard and a bassline that doesn't let you sit down. A refreshing end to a superb EP.

New Time New Place (9/10) - An amazingly flexible and impressive work of music. It actually has separate parts, but comes together into a single, epic nine-minute whole.

Codebreaker (7/10) - It's missing something, but otherwise an excellent techno track.

Alchemist (7/10) - I love when this one lets loose around the 2:50 mark. Hard and driving, but almost a bit too much so for me.

Pandoro (8/10) - As far as techno goes, this is a great atmospheric piece.
