has anyone ever bought equipment from this website before? They have some pretty good prices...just wondering if they are reliable, what their delivery is like, if you were satisfied with what you got from them?

OMG, that bad? Con artist? What do you mean by that? Do they just take your money and not ship the stuff? Sounds informative...I wouldn't mind hearing some horror stories.

They also have another site : www.djshop.com

Same guy answers the phones for both hollywooddj.com and djshop.com. I think they have 1 or 2 other sites too.

Stay away from them with a 10 foot pole. Do not be tempted by their low prices cuz they just take your money and IF they decide to ship the stuff to you after you repeatedly call them 3x a day, every day, it will take over a month for you to get it. Most of the times, they won't ship.

Seriously though, don't go with Hollywooddj. Their prices can sometimes be enticing but that's about it, everything else is a shambles.

Thats the thread I made warning other TA's about HollywoodDJ, along with that it comes with a full on complaint and how they were scamming me for a month straight.

Dude, of course they will get you all your equip, they are based in NY, and you live in NY. Why would they fuck with someone that could come to their doorstep and put a baseball bat to their knees?

One thing that you could do is go to www.bbb.org and check out those sites on there. They are also the best place to report your disgruntled feelings about those sites too.
