Question Its a mystery ??

Not sure if this subject has been brought up before
but does anybody out there know who are behind 'The Mystery'?
Was alot of thought that it was the same as who are
behind Rank 1, but I e-mailed them and they said it wasn't them
and they didn't know who was behind the name.
Anybody know ?

GrimReapers aliases list says it's RON VAN DEN BEUKEN who's behind these aliases:

Dub Delirious
Elaya
Floyd
J & R Project
The Mystery
Shane
Van den Beuken
Zith

so i guess it's not a mystery after all!

No he's not. U mixed him up with Ron van Kroonenburg who is the guy behind Driftwood (w. Dirk Jans & Thijs Ploegmakers) and also behind Vank.

Though i have 4 strings - let it rain (the mystery remix) on vinyl... and it says additional remix and production by driftwood... which is quite confusing.

Heh, are u sure u didn't mix up 2 different mixes and their credits? If it credits as u said, i think it's mislabeled. I have the this:

4 Strings - Let It Rain Remixes
12": Zeitgeist, Germany (065690-1)

A1. The Mystery Remix 9:00
- Remix and additional production by Ron Van De Beuken
B1. Driftwood Remix 7:45
- Remix and additional production by Driftwood (Ron van Kroonenburg, Thijs Ploegmakers and Dirk Jans)
B2. E Craig Dub 8:09
- Remix and additional production by Dimitri Siliakus

Tnx for the info! I've added a few of the aliases there but not yet all.. so they will be on the July update of the aliases list. Out soon!!

And i fully agree with your opinions about Ron's productions too.

Nah my vinyl hasnt got those mixes on... its a 4 track 12" on some italian label.

Diving - Original/Cosmic Gate on Side A
Let it Rain - Original/The Mystery on Side B

havent got it to hand: but it says something like 'B2 Remix and Additional Production by Driftwood'

i guess its an incorrect label.

Though dont they all have some connection with RR Records also?

Smiley DJ

Bugga...guys I'm gonna have to read all these again, so bloody confusing !

hmmmm... i always thought Above & Beyond were behind The Mystery...

the kick and the bassline on The Mystery's productions are very A&B-ish..
