Hello everyone
yet another new remix from me (a warm-up for the Damaged remix comp)

Anyway, I'm really pleased with this track. It has some really nice elements to it. Nice bassline, epic synth and a cool acid bleep rolling underneath topped off with some vocals

A question: How did you handle the chopped-up vocal? Simply cut it and added reverb? or smth else?

The melody is virtually the same as the original (which can be found on www.memories.no look out for the Icone Remix ! - its a remix comp so anyone can remix this track)
I have changed the sequence very slightly, not noticable but it makes it flow better with the rest of the track.

I cut it into seperate samples usising Goldwave then imported it into reason. then added EQ reverb and a touch of delay.
I also created that reverse vocal reverb effect by importing part of the vocal into reason, adding reverb to it, recording it, importing it into goldwave then reversing it. Very simple but effective

Nice remix Bren! I really like that cid blep underneath the vocals... Well done. Everything sounds nice and clean as usual. Though, I think some more melodies during the buildup could have been nice (I had some trouble finding them myself for this track...), and maybe turn up the volume on the main lead a bit more to make it more powerful.

great stuff! the vocals fit in reasonably well, although they seem to be a little too slow.. the track itself seems to go faster than the vocals.. also the main melody is rather quiet, which is a shame because it reduces the power a little bit.. i love the changes you've done with it, though.. so all in all, a good track.. i love the bassline!

Amazing track, its absolutley massive. Great work.

My only gripe, like others, is the main lead....mabye eq it, or just increase the volume, cause it gets lost a bit.

Edit: Btw, I just heard Awake that you did with MaRt. I'm not sure if I missed this, if it's old, or what, but it's amazing! You guys make it harder and harder to hold off on buying a CD Deck.

Thank you for this great remix!! I love it!! I have only one comment: The vocals doesn't fit perfectly. Did you you change the BPM of the vocals to fit the new tempo? If I'm not wrong this is a bit faster than the original? Was it you who asked for a midi file for one of my never songs? In that case you will get it soon. I just came back from a short trip Sweden so I haven't had time to make a midi yet...
