Vengaboys vs Madonna?

Anyone know anything about this? Vengaboys - Kiss vs. Madonna - Ray of Light? Is it any good?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I tried searching but didnt find anything relevant.

The bootleg of Madonna vs. Vengaboys gets played pretty frequently by Johan Gielen... It's a nice to hear tune but in the end I would prefer the non-vocal track.

The only problem being the fact that it's because it's an AIRSCAPE remix, and not an original vengaboys song

Well it's quite funny reading this as I think there is only one of you who has actually heard it! The track in question was on issue 238 of DMC (Disco Mix Club UK) and was put together by my partner in Dam Mad Tunes (Daniel) and myself. The two records are in perfect key with each other and apart from the subjective preference of not liking the Airscape mix with a vocal over - which is fair enough - the other comments about

are totally off the mark. We wouldn't even let it out if it didn't work totally. There are enough crappy off key bootlegs doing the rounds already! Anything that we have done up to now - of which there are a few to listen to on our website incl part of this mix being discussed here - has always got to work on the two main and crucial levels - key of the track and vocal being correct and the vocal sitting properly on beat - otherwise they don't even get finished.

If you'd like to hear part of the mix go to www.dammadtunes.com and have a listen to it. If you don't like it fair enough, but it is in key and it does work totally musically as well. As Johan had approved this along with Madonna in the first place we were very pleased. Now to hear that Johan himself likes it so much he is playing it out as well - well that just rocks!

i think it sounds awesome... the vocals from madonna and the tune from kiss blends perfectly... tooo bad it's in such low bitrate

If you stream the WMA version it is 64k and that equates to 128k mp3 - that sounds a LOT better than the mp3 version
