well, this should be interesting.. I guess...

I hope its a dub too, however if the vocals of the original track are at least somewhat solid... maybe use them. But I dunno, i never head the van Dahl track since I'm chedder free.

the title says it all..

Judging by the quality of some of IvD's recent work, I wouldn't jump to any cheese conclusions about this one

Eek! So many remixes, so little time...I can't say that that bodes well for quality.

Posted by oDrori on Jul-04-2003 20:58:

Wippenberg and Flutlicht made killer tunes out of IvD tracks, with the vocals. Hopefully MIKE can pull it off as well, though he's been more quantity and less quality as of late.

Which Flutlich remix?

Ian Van Dahl - Will I? (Flutlicht remix)

Full of energy and uplifting and (Needless to say) totally slays the much more succesful Voodoo & Serano remix.

You people should seriously take the dicks out of your asses seriously...

Who the hell cares if he remixes a Ian Van Dahl song, it works wonders what a great producer can do...

Check out

Ian Van Dahl - Try (Michael Woods Mix)
Ian Van Dahl - Try (Alphazone Mix)
Ian Van Dahl - Will I (Flutlicht Mix)

These have no cheesyness in them, get over it and just expect something different.

I'm opposite :P, i thought the Alphazone mix was class, even though i'm a big fan of Michael Woods aswell, i just didn't think this remix was the best.

Interesting, isn't T.K. the main man for Globe (J-pop group)? If so, I would definitly like to hear this, Globe vs. Push - Tranceformation is IMO, a very under-rated track !

yes underrated at least where im at.
id also like to hear a dub. it fairly easy for vocals to sound cheesy in any sense.

mike mike mike!! this is good news for me

Posted by Christopher B on Jul-05-2003 03:51:

Whatever guys, I'm sure it'll be good. If the tune was that horrible and he couldn't do anything with it, he wouldn't have chosen to remix it in the first place.

Posted by Ian on Jul-05-2003 12:59:

maybe he just needs some easy pocket money, can't blame guys like MIKE who work hard all the time from earning a bit from doing the odd more commercial thing, if ivd can earn shitloads for it, mike et al all deserve to as well

what has "happened" to mike?he seems to be producing LOADS of stuff this year...new tunes under most aliases + many remixes...most of them are good th00...

It's a tough business. Like Ian said, he may just be in bad need of cash. I've never heard anything of MIKE's that wasn't at least decent, so I wouldn't sweat it.

'ian van dahl - nights on java' is a good track...
try it and see

I was wondering what happend to IvD, he used to be realy good, " Castles in the sky " and " Try " (original mix) where one of my favorites back then... and then after a year or less without hearing about him, he came out with an awful remix of something i can't recall right now , 100% OF PURE CHESS.
