it's cd2 because it has the superior tracklist, save for that awful filterheadz piece of shit. the mixing on both is crap, so it really is all about the tracklist. i refuse to believe that any self respecting music listener would listen to nyana in his leisure time

Posted by Fandom on Jul-04-2003 22:16:

why..i thought nyana was good or what?

DaveSaenz,what do u mean"his earlier ones"?

While I love the bangin' start to CD1, the Size 9 Reinterpretation of Chutney being particularly energetic, CD2 takes the cake overall with some seriously blissful tunes and a finish that leaves nothing in the bag (Remember and North Pole; one could hardly ask for more).

On another note, the mixing is fine and it certainly never hampers the listening experience. Not sure what people are complaining about, maybe they've listened to too many compilations mixed with Pro-Tools?

Question

Yea I don't know why people are saying that the actual mixing is shit, I can't detect any problems

Posted by justin on Jul-05-2003 02:02:

I dont see NE thing wrong with listening to it in my leisure time, i guess i just dont have any self respect
...but i vote for the outdoor CD as well, more trance and less prog w/o the damn femmy vocals

It isnt the mixing, it is the flow, the track selection and the order picked just does not have a good overall flow

as for which one is better CD2 by far, cd1 just kinda annoys me i can at least listen to cd 2 but i really feel this album just had no flow to it at all, how ever amends was made at geldrome heh

I must say, i really like the first CD. The second one has great tunes, but I like the way he programmed the tunes and mixed better on the first disk.

The only problem with disk 1 is track 4, Tiesto and Junkie XL - Obsession (Frank Biazzi Remix). That song is sooooo bad, it almost ruins the CD. The rest of the CD is amazing, especially the part where he plays Nyana, Venus, and Tears From the Moon all in a row !
