Really friggin' wierd
I was in the kitchen yesterday having lunch, when I served myself a glass of Coke, and the cup - just exploded. OK, so you figure: alright, the soda was really cold and the cup was hot, or something of that nature, but no. I simply took a cup out of the cabinet, and poured some soda. Alright, so that was very odd, but here's the kicker. Just a couple of minutes ago, I came inside to get myself another cup of soda, because the cooler in the backyard was empty, and all the BBQ guests drank all the Coronas (damnit!) Same, I poured some Sprite, and put the cup down in the same spot - BOOM! The cup fucking exploded. OK, so now I'm very curious. I checked to see if the surface was hot from the dishwasher. No. I looked underneath in the cabinets to see if there's anything odd. No. Nothing...
By the way...I just went and poured a cup of water and put it on the counter again. ....it exploded again.
Um...anyone wanna take a crack at this one..?
strange, same thing happend to me a couple of days ago, a plate exploded in my hand! annother one exploded in the microwave, very strange! :S
My friend's mom once took a plate out the dishwasher and it exploded in her hand like 5 seconds after she took it out, she didnt run it under cold water or anything...
That's fucken insane.
Does it have to be in the exact same spot to explode??
That like twilight zone stuff man.
weird...first it was my tele switching on for no reason
then its ppl selling nothing on ebay for 15 dollars
now its expoloding plates and cups
what next?
SARS! ![]()
if u set ur cup on a surface like cement with ridges or lines then maybe thats why. because i used to set my glass cups on cement and cement irratates the glass or something, i think.

The only reason i remember is because our teacher told us this story about some army guys marching in a parade and since when they march their feet are in unisen, when they crossed over a bridge the resonating frequency from their marching was the same as the threshold point (?) of the bridge and it collapsed beneath them lol... |
its the deadly a cupabola virus u have been contaminated we must now place you in quarintine

Haven't you heard of the new suicide cups? They're commonly made of glass, plastic, or metal, can be any solid color or pattern. Some have handles, and some can even carry liquids. Beware of any cups/mugs/glasses fitting this description; they have recently been recruited by either osama or saddam, and should be treated accordingly--
i.e. run the fuck away.
thats funny as fuck! id be showing all my friends that magic trick where i make cups explode
that happened to me 2x last summer and once last september...
it was hot out and i had a tall glass and poured some cold drink into it..and the whole thing just broke. that happed a few times , made me really pissed cuz it was so messy!
then i had a big ceramic bowl and i had just made raman noodles in it, and i took it out of the microwave. the second i put a spoon in it to mix it, it broke and spilled it everywhere.
i think it's because there are minute cracks in it and as you know , heat causes molcules to expand, yada yada yada...
and a small light in the corner of my kitchen glows faintly when its turned off
i was a little like
when i discovered that
are u sure u dont have like super powers or something? liquid explosion women...
or maybe ur just putting the glass down to hard...u might not know ur own strength
