stupid newbie question about mixer inputs
am planning on buying : behringer ub2442fx pro
but I have a question...
from the photo it seems that it only has mono inputs, why is that so?
anyway, do you think it is a good mixer to use for my small home-studio?
Looks like it has 4 stereo inputs to me. Besides, even if it didn't, you could use the mono's for your synths. You just have to use 2 monos, of course, and make sure you pan one channel left and one right. There is no difference between this and going into the stereo inputs.
By the way, I just got a UB1622FX and I like it a lot. You have more subouts on that mixer which is great. Hope you have a multi in/out soundcard, that would work well with that mixer.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'm just now figuring mine out and would be glad to help.
thanks
I currently don't have a sound card, but I am planning buying Emagic EMI 6|2m (I am currently winning it on ebay).

i think it would be great for a small studio.
channels 1-8 are mono, or 4 stereo if you plug left into one and right into another. Channel 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and 15/16 are stereo channels.
