when i boot my comp up before the desktop loads i get an xp error screen saying that it can't load my profile and loads the default user profile, it doesn't do anything, it's just annoying. also if i log off it says im logged in as me, not the default. please, if any1 can help i would be most grateful, luke

control panel...user accounts....

make sure you are the administrator and there are no other accounts present...

then

right click on desktop...properties ....screensaver...power...advanced...take checkmark from prompt for password when resuming from standby..
