Trance on Tape

Is there anyone as stupid and as cheap as me who can't afford a CD player in their car and puts trance on cassette so they can listen to it in their old beater of a car?

I used to do that but now that I have a CD player in the car. la la la.

Posted by BigDil on Jul-07-2003 09:54:

I haven't touched any tapes since 1998

Posted by arj1o1 on Jul-07-2003 10:12:

you could use a special tape to connect your discman to your tape player in your car

Uhhh ATM I do but that's in the car I drive at work
maybe gonna buy such a tape as arj101 mentioned but they are about 20 euro and it's only for my work which is 2 times a week for a few hours.....

I, very much, still use my tape player in the car. I would never dream of touching one OUTSIDE the car though...hehe. I find that it's a bit hard to find the trance that I'm looking for on tape.

Dunno tapes

I definitely have a few tapes that I listen to

My friend uses that...It's somewhat reliable, but if the CD is slightly messed up, it tends to flip sides and just generally mess up by playing random tracks. Might just be my friend's Taurus, though.

King

i tape everything

sometimes cd it, but im fresh out of cd-rs

need to purchase some more...mmm...

geeee i love tapes. you have to wait for them forever to rewind or ff, i can never remember which side is the one i want, what is the beginning, and they sound like crap!

i only use them to record my mixes sometime at home, only for my own personal use though (to see what i can improve).

i was watching Groove the other day and when i saw that dude put in his Digweed TAPE in his car, i said to myself, "a tape???" haha!

Posted by MezzicanTrancEr on Jul-07-2003 18:17:

hey when you gotta have trance you gotta have trance...there's no shame...I just got my car stolen and had to drive in a rental for a month with no cd player...so I recorded stuff onto tape...it kept me sane...

I still have a beta tape player, hehe...

Exactly, I couldn't live without mine...my portable CD player has bass boost on it as well so I get more umph outta my system in my car than I would usually.

Red face

I do have a car kit that came with my discman but my discman broke so no help there.
