How Was Armin???
Somebody, please fill me in- How was Armin last night? How was the dinner & the show? Does anyone have a set list (even an incomplete one)? Please, I'm dying to find out the details!!!
Armin kicked ass!
Didn't make it to the dinner, but I did make it to the show.
Armin was having a good time behind the decks, pumping the crowd with his tunes.
Shout-out to those TAs who showed me those Armin pics from the chop house.
Here are some tracks that he played:
First Track:
-Gabriel & Dresden pres Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (AvB Remix)
Stuff in the Middle:
-Plastic Boy - Live Another Life
-Pulser - My Religion (Original Mix)
-Midway - Amazon
-Armin van Buuren - Precious
-Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You (Vandit Club Mix)
-Laura Turner - Soul Deep (Signum Dub)
-Armin van Buuren vs Airwave - Sunspot (DCML Remix)
-Basic Dawn - Pure Thrust (Nu-NRG Remix)
Last Track:
-Armin Van Buuren Feat System F - From The Heart
Damn! that last track was crazy
Everyone was still pumped up after the last track, so pumped that they were cheering Armin on for one more track. Heh, Armin couldn't resist his screaming fans so he dropped another tune for us.
Unfreakin believable!!!!!
The remix of As the Rush Comes is classic Armin
Not only did Armin play a sweet set, he also stuck around after to talk to his fans and sign autographs (my cowboy hat is my new prize possession). You really gotta respect Armin for doing that. (ehmmm Tiesto)
I may not ever recover from missing this show...
Please Post pics if you have them. It sounds like it was amazing.

At the TA meetup in Montreal he brought vinyl copies of Masters & Nickson - Out There (5th Dimension) for everyone!

armin rocked it
he singles the TAs out of the crowd on NUMEROUS occasions, toasting to us, pointing at us, and just having an all around great time
and then he came to the warehouse.
more later, ive got to go to work now
C:/del*.mp3 as well.
a remix of clocks(marco V?)

Ya he played the marco v mix.
he played a nu nrg remix of something i remember the whole crowd was going nuts when he played it
That'd be the nu nrg remix of pure thrust
What did he play for an encore?? Somebody must know...
i believe he had 2 or 3 encores, i cant remember heh, one was marco v c:\del.mp3 again i believe, and another was from the heart. The whole night was freaking amazing!
the last last last song was C:/delstar.mp3
the one before that was From the heart
before that..umm..I dunno
it was encore+1
encore
encore
and then they shut him down
AND HE CAME TO THE WAREHOUSE!
oh what a night. Im uploading my pics now, which not so surprisingly are just of Armin. The beer tent didnt give any vantage points to get decent pictures.
and it destroyed my knees. I can barely stand today. Im exhausted(and on a 2 hours break from work) I have no voice I was screaming ARMIN too much, and my arms are sore from holding them in the air so much. He literally destroyed me.
The talk w/ Armin @ Chophouse was the best, him asking us how we know so much was CLASSIC. Wow, Im going to Edmonton for sure. Bringing the JA with me.(he doesnt understand Ja does he???)
Adam got him to sign a record Ja Armin
He looked so confused.
and the banner, 1 down, 3 to go. well..actually all the trance DJs get to sign it, but the pilars NEED to sign it.
Ya, after last night Edmonton is a must...and then here again in October *fingers crossed*
come to van guys
wow, what a night. was glad to meet everyone @ the chophouse that i did not already know, vanilla, miranda panda(your a cutie), dartrance, armin#1 and his friends(small world that you know vinny eh!) was wicked partying with you all. lets do it again next time.
he also played igor s - boomerang, not once but twice, it was his last encore after 'from the heart'. surprisingly that was one of the better party crowds in a while here, or was it just cuz armin is too much fun to not go crazy!!?!
once again thanks to Adam for settin everything up, and Armin for the vinyl. looks like i only got ibiza & the WEMF to look forward to now, which is just fine, but i want more ARMIN!!
ya mon.

We asked Armin if he'd be coming back soon, and he said possibly in October when they are doing the 76 tour.
Perfect
Armin was sooo good. Some guys were holding a sign that said: As the rush comes (AVB mix) Track of the year. Then I was so suprised he played it first track. It was ridiculously good. He played to the crowd so much always smiling hands up etc. Even the people hanging out with Bad Boy Bill over at the bar were pumped for how AVB played to the crowd. Does anyone know the track title of the bang'n song he dropped around 1:30 were he threw both hands up to the beat.
Armin in Edmonton? Dammit I havent been paying attention to the concert listings at all. Someone plz link me with the info!!
armin blew my fragile mind into tons of small bits all over the pavement. holy crap it was good, the tunes anyway. towards the end, he was just putting on a record, letting it play out, waiting while the crowd chanted his name and cheered for a few seconds, then putting on the next, which was cool, but got tiring after a while.
his tunes were wicked though, so hard and driving and melodic. the first song was the best, when everyone started singing "embrace me, surround me, as the rush comes!" I want that record! (already have the sweeping strings mix en route to me.)
bad boy bill was wicked too, and i shook his hand after, that was pretty cool. I liked how they showed the screens filming the decks so you could see him scratching.
