I am Chicane's #1 fan BUT I'll have to say that the few songs I have off the new album are just not the same Chicane I used to know and love.

Thats the whole idea, how can you expect a guy to come out with new stuff thats the same as his old stuff. A guy like Nick is intelligent enough to explore different avenues. When I first heard Love on the Run I didn't really like it, but know as I listen to it more I love it. I think in time you will come to love his new stuff.

Heh. Mojave was just a live project, a mash-up of things and never meant to be released and probably never will. So Nick told me when i emailed him way over a year ago.

Really, really looking forward to this one. He seems to take his sweet time to release albums, though the quality usually makes the wait worth while.

I have 4 of the new songs and I'm just not very in to them. I'm like you, Love on the Run was not my fav. at first but it did grow on me.

Maybe 'love on the run' is a sign that he's turning more towards house... But then again, I listen to 'Arizona' and it's all ambient. I like variety (think 'Far from the maddening crowds'), and I think the album is going to live up to the hype. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it does...
