it's about the monotony of so many of our lives. watch it. it's a riot.

my favorite part is beating the printer to death.

Woe is my life to have emulated such a film. I foolishly told myself that that would never be me ... then reality hit as my credit cards started beating down my door.

"die mother****** die mother****** die"

then they start break dancing back at the guy's apartment.

i relate to several aspects of that movie. i do the office thing and the waitress thing and i can't tell you how often i've wanted to display my own form of "flair."
lawrence is one of my favorite characters: "hell, you don't need a million dollars to do nothing. look at my cousin, he's broke, don't do shit."
and i love saying to people (when they're making fun of my occasional shadiness), "well that may be, but at least i never slept with lumberg."

"uh, that's my stapler. I was told I could play music from 8-10 at a reasonable level, and it's only 9:44."

hahah, greatest movie about office life ever. Alot of those characters we all can find in the office. haha

Posted by Psionic on Jul-08-2003 16:55:

^ LOL. My favorite part is when Lumburg (spelling?) has his birthday and that guy doesn't get the cake.

"PC load letter?????? What the FUCK does that mean??!????"

"b-b-b-b-b-ut it's my stapler... i want my stapler..."

"...thank you for calling inatech, just a moment. thank you for calling inetech, just a moment. thank you for calling inetech, just a moment..."

"oh, oh, oooooooohhhhhhh!"

that movie is the best!!!

"I'll tell you what I'd do with a million dollars - two chicks at the same time"

"You think two girls would do that for a million dollars?"

"The kind of girls I know would"

Posted by T-1000 on Jul-08-2003 23:30:

I've watched it about 50 times, seriously

Posted by Paula on Jul-08-2003 23:54:

yeah i had an office space moment today....i went to go register for my 11 day drivers course and there were these 2 girls sitting in separate cubicles and one of them was loading her stapler and the other said in the MOST monotonous voice ever "how can i help you" when it sounded like she'd rather die than be where she was.
(oh AND i got the shittiest class time- august 1st through 11th 7.30 AM) i felt like taking my bat and beating something...

A year ago, I was doing a summer school course at a local highschool. Me and a classmate (who are fans of Office Space) found a kid's name on the wall of registered students, named Michael Bolton.

We went up to his classroom, and asked for him. The teacher points him out, he turns around, and I go "Hey, have you seen Office Space?"

It turned out he did see the cult-hit movie. For the next week, i had fun bugging the Bolton kid, before I dropped out.
