Best transitions ever!!!!

No this isnt a damn best track post, this is a best
transition post. Out of all the compilations you have
what is the best transition between songs you have
ever heard. Hitting the BPM perfect or just doing
something very unique. Here are mine.

Paul Oakenfold's Another World

"Lisa Gerrard - Sacrfice" into "LostIt.Com - Animal"

OR

George Acosta's PM Edition

"Grim Reaper - Dancing in the Dark" into "George Acosta - Emotions"

The transation from the Medway song into Sander Kleinenberg's 'My Lexicon' off Global Underground 013 is unforgettable..
..mostly because you can't tell between two very different songs!

It could only be Sasha's work.

Smiley DJ

This one may make u laugh but one of the best transistions i ever heard was by Pete Tong ( can hear the laughing now )

He did Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel into Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto in search of Sunrise remix )

Now that amazed me cos it was so smooth and was a great combo of two classic tracks.

yahel - voyage into free radical - surreal..
you know the dj knows whats up when he spins 3 or 4 good songs IN A ROW, all in the same key.. man that's somethin else.

what pete tong set is that on?

Armin van Buuren - Boundaries of imagination

I like Armin's transition from 'Lost Tribe - Gamemaster' to 'DJ ICON - Voco Me'. Now everytime I listen to Gamemaster, I keep wanting to hear Voco Me come in where it does on Boundaries of Imagination.

I refuse to comment on a DJ's mixing ability unless I see them live. More often than not the "mix" CDs are mixed using ProTools or similar software - which kind of defeats the whole point of a mix-CD.

hhhhmmmmm .. I dont know abotu BPM and all, but Id say one of the transitions that rocked was .. Jan Jhonston -- flesh ( tiesto mix ) to Solar Stone -- seven cities ( vone living cities mix ) that was when I heard OAKEY spinn live.. that was an awesome transition, everytime I hear Flesh now, I see the solar stone coming.. hehehehe... I know i've heard other good transitions, just not in my mind right now

here is one of mine

ferry corsten live at trance energy 2000

going from on stream to eternity

I totally agree with skywarp...nobody should be commenting on mixes that were done using computers and stuff. As for mixes during sets, I can't think of any off the top of my head. Anyway, guys like Sasha, PvD, Oakenfold, Tiesto make awesome transitions like 95% of the time.

The best transitions I've ever heard are in John'00'Fleming's essential mix. a string of 3 tracks:

The Mexican - Shadow Stalker to Adelphoi - A Better Tomorrow to Area - Definition of Tekto

The mixes are so long and smooth. Flawless.

Posted by torontotrance on Jun-19-2001 03:46:

Smile

Paul Van Dyk in the casino essential mix from columbia to we are alive (the breathless mix)

Tiesto in Dutch Dimension from Mooga to questions must be asked

Sasha in GU013 in and out of sander K's my lexicon

hmm... i dunno, but in my opinion, Armin van Buuren - Live on SlamFM (22-09-2000).. the mix between tracks one and two: Cass & Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix) to Future Breeze - Smile (Van Bellen mix) is just IMMPECABLE!!!... you can barely notice the changes and shows how gooda mixer he is =)

Paul Oakenfold Essential Mix Miami

One of the best I have heard was between Runaway & Smile on Amins Basic Instinct. i dont even know Smile is playing untill I hear the breakdown come in.
