when i first heard this song, it instantaneously reminded me of...:

*Rabbit In The Moon - O.O.B.E.
*God Within - Raincry (Submerged Remix)

other songs that u may like...:

*Accadia - Into The Dawn (Ashtrax Remix)
*Way Out West - Stealth (Nubreed Remix)
*Bjork - Pagan Poetry (Infusion Mix)
*Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Sebata Breaks Mix)
*Dirty Vegas - Days Go By (Paul Oakenfold Mix)
*Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solar Stone's Coastal Mix)
*Beber & Tamar - You Wonder (Starecase Remix)
*Atlas - Compass Error (Rv.T Dub)
*Momu - The Dive
*several amateur remixes of Delerium - After All, though the names have slipped my mind :-/

names to look out for: Hybrid, Infusion, Nubreed, Koma & Bones, Burufunk, Rennie & Pilgrim, Starecase... but we warned, many of those artists dont produce melodic breaks most of the time...

evanescence - hello (trifactor vs. gabriel & dresden mix)

this track is a little less uplifting than the avril track, but it's got a sick beat and the vocals accomodate a great tune. you should check it out.

I thought i was beginning to understand what breaks is, and then i read this thread.........

I know all about the "breakbeat" rather than the 4/4 thing, but i always thought that the Avril Lavigne remix was prog.

I'm lost.

Simple answer: it's progressive-breaks. Very hot genre right now.

I just thought of another tune you might like: Luke Chable & Jono Fernandez - Before You Break On Me
