How rare is the Lost Tribe - Gamemaster 12"?

GAME MASTER - SIGNUM RMX / LOST TRIBES 99 MIX (MATT DAREY & RED JERRY)

LABEL: HOOJ CHOONS

Fairly rare, but if you shop around and/or look on www.gemm.com you can find one for ~$20

Edit: Oh btw, it's not as rare as the Original Mix, just an fyi if you were curious.

I don't really want it, myself, but it was on e-bay and the person had it labeled as "very rare" for .. $25. Just wanted to see if it was.

Is the promo vinyl with Under the Red Sea more rare?

you guys should look into cds, you can get both discs on cd for �1 each brand new!!!! christ, fuck paying for warped plastic, get the original mix, 99 mix, signum mix, under the red sea + signum radio edi ton each for a total of �2. you vinyl pe0ns are crazy mofo's.

Don't turn this into a CD vs Vinyl debate. This thread is about a vinyl - please stick to the topic at hand.

those vinyl freaks. Its a good point. If you can get it on CD for less, why not!

Because most DJ's prefer vinyl.

Just drop it.

I spin CD-R but I own the 12" of everything I spin. CD's are a cheap and effective solution, but having the 12" means you can listen to music properly...

and spin it properly.

i would spin CDs, but, i can't be arsed to record all my vinyl (and lost major quality doing so) and put it on CDs, nor learn how to use CD decks, and expend the money.

btw, the original mix of gamemaster is VERY rare, it's my most expensive purchase to date, i paid 33GBP for it on ebay, and i have heard it go for more.

the '99 and signum mixes aren't really rare at all, i wouldn't pay any more than $20 for it.

if you rip the vinyl properly, and leave it as a wav before recording, it sounds exactly the same

I have the original "Distant Voices EP" on CD from 97, and "Gamemaster 12" from 99, with the signum rmx etc. I would love to get my hands on the original...

While were on the topic of Hooj Tunes, what about the rareity original "Greece 2000 - Three Drives"

greece 2000 was re-released on some shitty label i cant remember the name of, but it's around and about

Under the Red Sea is the reason I bought it As for the cd vs vinyl thing I collect the rare vinyls I really like, it's just more gratifying than getting it on cd IMO.

Oh, by the way, the seller on Ebay ([email protected]) that has it for $35 always has his vinyls priced on the high side so that doesn't make a good reference.

well, i don't have that ability. i would have to buy elliptical styli, a new soundcard that records in 24/96, professional software to do it, as well as a new cd burner and a new computer to put it on.

not to mention spend hours of my own time, and buy CD decks. and then for all that, get turned away at clubs and raves cuz they only use records.

nah, i think i will stick with vinyl.

I guess I was a bit lucky, but I bought 2 copies of one of the two original Hooj releases (Signum & Matt Darey remixes) from Juno for about �5 each about three months ago. Also bought a white label of the "Distant Voices EP" with "Angel" & "Gamemaster" from Plastic Fantastic the other week, also about �5.
