well while i was out looking at the nord lead 3 today, the guy @ the place i was at told me about the g2 coming out soon. already impressed @ the lead 3 i wanted to know more about the g2. so what he has told me is that basiclly you can hook up the synth to your comp run the software that comes with the synth and make your own sounds and than store them in the synth. now thats basiclly all i know about it so far and from memory i think he said the price was roughly aud$5000. fuck its expensive but yea i like im pretty sure im can go without food for a couple of months :P

what do you guys know about it? is it worth waiting another 6-8 weeks to get or should i just go ahead and get the lead 3.

It's basically like Native Instruments Reaktor with a proprietary DSP. Try working with Reaktor once, and see if you still wanna pay the big bucks for the Nord Modular. Otherwise go for the Lead.

im happy to pay the money for it. its got all the sounds of a nord lead 3 and then all its own lil nifty tricks. i have alot of soft synths but now i want a piece of hardware that can do the stuff i want and i can show off as well
