-- How To Sneak Camera's Into Event's

Posted by ravedave on Jan-03-2001 04:26:

OK it really pisses me off when you get your camera taken away at a rave or somesort of event. It's not like were gonna sell them and rip the co. off...we just want the memories to stay alive. So does PLEASE share your secrets. Some iv'e used that worked were:

1) tuck a disposible camera in your sock (security usually doesn't check way down there

2) if you have a jacket with a hood, toss it in the hood, it works most of the time

Please pass your secrets on...let the memories live on!

The reason they're taking away the cameras is because ppl like to take out the film and hide their drugs inside ... (even in disposables ...) - and hiding it in your sock might be somewhat suspicious 'coz you will have a huge bump ... hoodies are a bad idea too since security DOES chech them thoroughly. So, if you are caught with a camera hidden in such a place it will be a lot more suspicious than if you had it in your pocket.
Cameras are quite a tricky item to hide, especially if security is doing their job properly. The only way I could think of is to get buddy-buddy with one of the security people or one of the warmup DJs who would take it in for you. (There is another way, BUT since this is a public board and I'm paranoid I'd rather not elaborate).

peace

Lightbulb

Go there with camera in hand and stuff an extra roll of film in your underwear...

If they want to take away your camera just say that you're paranoid because the last time it happened when you came out of the rave the camera wasn't there and you don't want to lose it again... Tell them you'll take the film out of the camera and then throw it out..

once you're inside load up your camera and groove.

(if they're a bitch they'll ask for the battery but this has never happened)

Shame / Disagreement sneakiness

Hey one of my friends has very large feet, or shoes anyways, and he managed to get 2 pacifiers, poprocks, drugs and a camera in. So if you know someone who is daring, with large feet, security wouldn't make everyone take their shoes off, unless they were walking funny.....peace.

This is really interesting. I have never had my camera taken away. The only thing that has ever been taken was the chewing gums. I guess the security measures are different between East and West.

Security at the last rave I went to (Arrival 2001 with DJ Sakin and friends) was a real bitch! They thoroughly checked through everything I had. They even checked my hair for drugs! What the fuck? The worst thing that happened was when they confiscated my keys, just because it had a little 2.5 inch pocket knife on it. I mean come on... it's not like I'm there to start shit. This friggen knife I've got couldn't even cut through a baby's soft spot, let alone allow me to cut out a person's heart and allow me to feast on it before shocked and horrified dancers. It doesn't stop there either... the security guard who fondled me for 20 minutes was an absolute midget. I swear... he had to stand on telephone books to search through my hair. I wonder how many dicks he had to suck to get his job. Even though security was tighter than an 18 year-old Japanese schoolgirl, my friend still managed to sneak in 1.5 liters of vodka... thus making this rave the most fun ever!

how did he get the wodka in? drink it before entering? *grin*

Hmmmm..... we did plenty of hard drinkin' before the rave, but my friend was able to sneak it in by rigging a water bottle. It looked like it was brand new and unopened, so she was able to get it by without much trouble. That's how we made our New Year's Eve so freakin' special!
