Calling all AYLA fans......i need some help

Can anyone tell me the version of Ayla - Ayla that has a breakbeat in it towards the begining of the song. my girlfriend and i have been looking for this song for awhile. She has it on her computer labeled as Ayla - Ayla II, but that can't be it (I think??). I just can't find the real name of the song though. Any help would be appreciated.....

THANKS TA's!!!

im a bit stoopid so i dont know these things

also.... what is another good electronic band besides

crystal method
chemical brothers
and the prodigy???

I believe the mix you're after, is Mo & Skinny Hole In One Remix (7:32) from 1998. It starts with very smooth breakz and slowly turns into lovely trancer. And it's also the only remix that bases on Original Mix, not on Tandu Remix like ALL the others.

Here's the Ayla mixography i have managed to gather on CDs and vinyls:

Ayla - Ayla
1996
Club Mix (7:55)
Original 12" Mix (8:49)
Original Radio Edit (3:49)
Original Taucher Remix (9:32)
Progressive Mix (6:44)
Single Cut (3:35)
Tandu Remix (5:31)
1997
Taucher Club Edit (7:33)
Taucher Radio Cut (3:02)
1998
Mo & Skinny Hole In One Remix (7:32)
The Space Brothers Meet Sacha Collisson Remix (8:38)
1999
Pronti & Kalmani Remix (7:00)
Tandu Remix (7:30)
Veracocha Remix (6:31)
2000
DJ Sakin vs. Ayla's Zero And Below Remix (8:16)
George Acosta's Grooveman Remix aka Acostamania Remix (?:??)

Ayla - Ayla part II (a followup to Ayla, not a same tune)
1996
Atmosphere Mix (6:43)
Club Mix (7:50)
Extended Mix (6:21)
Radio Mix (3:20)

Kosmonova - Ayla (a remake of Ayla, combining sounds of Ayla & Ayla part II)
1997
Extended Mix (7:09)
Intrance Remix (5:44)
Kosmonova Remix (4:40)
Single Edit (3:35)
Taucher 97 Remix (8:10)

I'm sure someone else can give you an answer, but to sum it up it's a non 4x4 beat. I don't listen to pure breakbeat DJ's, but you can find breaks in Rank 1 - Breathing [Dub], just give that track a listen and you'll notice when the beat strays from a basic 4x4.

I wonder if Tandu ever manages to produce something as good as Ayla was back in the day and still is.. his latest, Sun Is Coming Out was OK but nothing more IMO.

Guess what I saw at work yesterday? New Ayla - Liebe remixes coming

Did George Acosta ever remix any Ayla tune or did he just spin them in a set? I have a version that sounds remixed but I don't have all the versions of the song itself so it could have been a different remix he was spinning.

Where did you see that? That's nice.. even if Ayla - Liebe already is a remake of Cosmic Baby's 1992 classic with the same name.

Most Ayla tunes have some elements and similar sounds from old 4 Voice tunes also. One track Tandu must have liked alot for making sooo similar sounds on his tracks, is 4 Voice - Eternal Spirit.

Oh yes, i forgot that one.. He really has done a remix of it, Ayla - Ayla 2000 (George Acosta's Grooveman Remix) but i think its not released.. at least it's not on my Ayla - Ayla (2000) white label vinyl.. my vinyl has only the DJ Sakin vs. Ayla Remix.

WOW! you should've won a pulitzer for that!! We already knew.. What part didn't you understand?

I know Ingo Kunzi = DJ Tandu, Ayla and loads of other aliases. Ralph Armand Beck aka DJ Taucher was also part of Ayla in the early days but left the project after Ayla part II.. And Torsten Stenzel, Taucher's co-producer (he's also Jrg "York" Stenzel's older brother), did some arrangements and stuff like that for Ayla too.

"Orion vs Ayla - Eternity (Ayla Mix)" has breakbeats and a really sweet melody. Maybe this is what you are searching for.
