Drunk Slinky @ Opera House

Ok, So i am planning a trip to Bournmouth (from Southampton) on Friday evening to go to Slinky @ Opera House!

I am excited but don't know what to expect going for the first time... any tips??

I am hoping to get the all-inc tickets with coach travel there and back!

Southampton clubs are the WORST...EVER! The best we have is Ikon and thats shit!! Anyone else from good ol' Soton'??

Well i went to slinky this friday, as u can see by the thread i posted.

The coach from southampton takes about 45mins to get to b'mouth and u get to walk in and past the Q. Get there about 10ish i think.

Club usually fills up by 11. U have to be on the coach at 3, club finishes about quarter past unless its a special late thing.

But its good value, but i drove down to bournemotuh, quick i thought.

Anyway pics of slinky are on my site - www.ukta.tk. Club is really really good, and the people are really friendly.

You will have a good time

Sounds good! What are the ladeez like?

I am well up for it! I'm fed up of shitty Ikon.. its about as big as my bedroom

Whats the drink situation? Cheap/Expensive? I don't do pills, will i feel left out?? I am up for a few tokes of the smoke if anyone offers though

Dont really go clubbing for the ladies usually, but hots pants and bikini tops sound good???

Yes there are a lot of nice women in there

Drugs situation, a lot of people do them, but u wont feel elft out, a lot of people dont. And as for weed, there is plenty of it, and if yr in the right place u will be offered it

And drinks r club prices, more expensive than a pub, but less expensive than an up market restaurant

I go to uni in soton and i get the coach down to slinky quite a bit, its a good price for what u get and it is a wicked night out.

Just remeber if u miss the coach home u gotta wait til about 7 for the trains to start runnin but there is usually an after party on the bach tho.

Nah it differs from month to month although its getting steadly harder month by month.

This is mainly due to the Slinky crowd being a mainly hard crowd.

Trance nights = Dead
Hard nights = Rammed

Anyone can see that hard nights will be more profitable and hence, the lineup for August = 4 out of 5 nights having that hard edge to them.

1st: Signum, Andy Farley, Petrae Foy, Dav Gomrass
8th: Lab 4 (live), Tidy Nu-Breed: Guyver, Tara Reynolds, Paul Maddox
15th: Slinky Classics Night: JFK, Dav Gomrass, Jon Gurd, Chris Bailey (with Fire FM)
22nd: Tidy Boys (4 hr world exclusive set), Dave Lea (3 hr set)
29th: Eddie Halliwell & Rob Tissera (B2B), Tim Lyall
