chill out kiddies. i dont believe that the moon landing was a fake and i know this video is not from the real thing. i just thought it was funny. i put it in humor/funny/cool web sites b/c it is so absurd.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the Apollo 13 mission was supposed to be another moon landing. But after the systems malfunctioned, the mission was aborted, and they returned to Earth.

I'm confused, are you saying why didn't they go there again? If you're asking that, they did. There were a total of 9 Apollo missions. Apollo 11-17 were slated to land on the moon, and with the exception of Apollo 13 the other 6 did indeed land on the moon.

What would be the point? Not only would they have to design a new vehicle to get there, but they would have to spend billions to support such a mission. And all for what? A couple useless rocks?

The UN is doing something ... they're perfectly content to sit around and sqaubble hehe. But I hear that China does want to send a man to the moon ... in like 2013 or something like that. Nobody dreams about going to the moon anymore (well, no government) heh now it's mars.
