Tracklisting looks good ... but most of those tracks have been played to death by various DJs in the last few months

Probably 90% of the people on this world never heard a single track from that album. And old tracks can be good as well you know

I heard the CD today and 04 was not N&M Remix, but the Original Mix

er... no shit. The CD was recorded April 19, 2003.

Posted by dj1212 on Jul-29-2003 21:27:

yeah, as the above post notes, this CD was recorded live in april straight from the mixer. it even has a few slight mistakes in it and you got to love the crowd on Punk - it turns into a damn sing-a-long. this mix has much less of a mechanical feel than most mix CDs (as does the rest of the CDs in the Mixed Live series).

Picked up the CD the other day at Virgin in NYC - decent CD, mixing is a bit haphazard... like I mean he beatmatches fine but he seems to bring in songs MUCH too quick. The more tech-trance stuff towards the end is a nice change of pace. Nothing at the beginning doesn't fit on AT ALL, especially right before Velvet Morning. Still a good CD although I haven't had time to see the DVD yet.

Posted by shao on Jul-30-2003 01:53:

i thought it was awesome how everyone was chanting 'ferry!' and then the beat of Nothing came in..

Posted by Stories on Jul-30-2003 03:16:

Me being the Ferry freak had to get this, but the DVD isn't quite what I was hoping it would be. It's little more than a gimmick. It has a small documentary on it with a few clips from the night, a few random pictures from the night, and it also has the 'Punk' video on it.

slide show bg music

What do you think of the song playing during the slideshow?

Was very close to picking this up the other day, solely for the dvd included, but then i saw the dvd was definitely a gimmick(STORIES) so i picked up something else instead. a slideshow? pictures? you put that on a dvd?
