what was on?
Was it any good?
Having seen it about a month ago (working for the big F and all :P) I can say its a bit of alright, some biased stuff, some funny looks on the clubbing world, lots of stick poking (EG crasher kids)but its a good watch none the less. Not meant for hardcore TAs, but the general public/ avrage punter will enjoy it.
It gets replayed at 6am thursdays, and 4pm sundays I think....
Yeah it wasn't too bad. They had an interview with Mauro Picotto and one with Fergie. Then they showed footage from Love Parade and they also had a section on Gatecrasher. Yeah it wasnt too bad. Oh and they played Massive by Ralphie B.
Next week tho i think there is a feature on Paul van Dyk, looks good!

replaying it again on
my birthday
27.07.03
4.00pm Mix Of Nations
The definitive guide to the global dance music scene. (M)
Was average, would have prefered it if they had interviewed Picotto for a bit longer.
geez, what a waste of half an hour. would have preferred them to actually go a step beyond the cliched 'i love music, we're innit for the music' rhetoric drivel, instead of parading muzzas, candy kids, and general weirdos in front of the camera whilst plugging XBOX during the commercials.
Still, it was Fox8, i shouldn't be surprised.
It was decent. I liked that Love Parade footage..and it was also nice to hear Ralphie B - Massive
next week's one looks better though.
but wtf was with all that xbox crap...
marketing ves, marketing.
typical brand tie in. considering the 18+ is a large market demographic in the industry, it makes sense to build the image along the lines of clubbing and all that 'cool' stuff.
saw right through it though.
Recorded in PURE DV. I was exited about it like everybody else. What a load of shit! MOF is totally F'ed Up. Short interviews with DJ's like Fergie, Mauro Picotto, Roger Sanchez and camera Zoom ins and outs Clubber asses and tits!!!That's all
Anyway it wasn't all in vein setting up the equipment for DV! Friday nite captured "Laurent Garnier LIVE". Fucken AWESOME. If only I could make those available for D/L...................
There was about 5 minutes of PvD, talking about how good Berlin is etc, some footage of him at Loveparade and Columbiahalle
And Active X - Lets Go, i mean out of all the songs PvD has ever played WHY THIS!
Loved the footage of Mobile Home @ Bondi in 2000 NYE! Carl Cox is awsome.
Does anyone know the track that they play at the start and end o the show? FARKIN WICKED BASSLINE! I WANT!
oh it also needed more Danny Howells.
next week . . Homelands and something else, i've forgotten already!
