Icone - Meriva (Echano Remix)

I'm a man of few words...

Icone - Meriva (Echano Remix)

I hope it doesn't rate too badly against the monster original and remixes... Thanks to MK-S!

I can only re-iterate what I've already told you.

Wonderful strings breakdown - gets me everytime. The buildup to this breakdown is brilliant, I love that synth... adds such a nice "vibe" to the track. Original lead - excellent phasing - glad you added the additional melody in the main part (no need to thank me, you were the one that actually created it ) - Overall a fantastic feel to the track that is different to all the others.. great work.

DL'ing now (server is kinda slow on me ).

I'm looking forward to it! Many thanks for the remix mate

Easily the best mix of the lot (except the Emota mix which I havent heared)

I like the fact u made it different to the original, the production quality is excellent...umm thats about it really, can't fault it.

Phiew, finally got it!

It's another very nice remix, and different, which is good. I like the buildup synth you added/altered, sounds quite epic. Strings during the break are nice (these remixes never seem to fault in that area ).
I do feel the mix could take some extra bass... I'll have a listen again on my headphones, maybe it's my speakers who fault. The main section seems a bit less in power, but it fits.

Thx again mate, this is great
Cheers,
LW

EDIT : is it ok for me to add your remix to my site and link to this url from it? lemme know

Easily in your opinion you mean

To me they're all equal (in some ways)... I respect the work and efforts everyone has put in them. So far there's some other remixes that are coming up soon (hopefully) :

E-Nature remix
DJ Light remix
Athru remix (John O' Callaghan & Bryan Kearney)

That should be fine, unless my ISP takes issue with it which I very much doubt they will.

Will let U know what I think when I have it

Great remix mate

Esp lovin the bassline and the lead sounds great.
Nice twist on the original.
This is definatly the most unique sounding mix

Sounds nice and crisp, great production.

Good Work

I absolutely love this remix. Right on par with the original, different sounds for different times. Honestly, if I had to pick one remix for the B side, it'd be this one. No offense to the others who remixed it, but this just has a unique sound to it, more of a true remix.

Sounds so professional and clean, your best work yet imo.

Next time you say anything bad about your skills, I'm gonna slap you!

Posted by Shepless on Jul-23-2003 21:29:

Thumbs up

Very good matey!

Those strings remind me a bit of Urban Train for some reason (I think I told you that last night?) Anyways, not me fav mix out of the lot, mines S2Ks if im honest, but as stated, this one is probably the most original sounding out of them all!

Glad you sorted out the main bit in the end, sounds great, although its lacking too much on the lower end of things! Aside from that.....no complaints here, top mix

Woo! Great remix, well structured, very professional. /me likes very much. IMO the best remix of the tune.

You just seem to get better and better all the time.. can't wait for your next production or remix.

I just tried the link and it worked - hopefully if you can't get it now you'll be able to get it soon enough!

Posted by DJPrototypeX on Jul-24-2003 17:56:

the strings in the breaks seem oddly similar to Urban Train...not a bad thing...really drivin tune u got...as always...this is a great rmx and really does rank high in the rmxes IMO...this is a massive trance monster...the way u used the melody and the piano are by far the best in all the rmxes...well done dude...

Posted by George Kendall on Jul-24-2003 18:27:

Jesus mart....

I think you're overeacting slightly.

It might not 'be a bad thing' but these constant tenuous comparisons make me feel rather inadequate and seem to make me out as being unable to come up with anything by myself!

i know. i didnt say u couldnt come up with anythin. damn! look at everythin u have released here...everytime u leave me amazed...u have to believe in yourself more than u do. everythin u post is, "i think it sux" when its really bangin...
