How many beats have you listened to in your life???

Something to work out if its raining.

Assuming the average Trance song is 136 bpm.

Multiply this figure by 60 to get beats per hour.

Multiply this figure by the number of hours you listen to Trance on average each day

Multiply this figure by the number of days you've listened to trance. (ie: 2 years = 365 x 2)

Its quite amazing.

me: 136 x 60 x 2 x 913 = 14,900,160

ie: My ears have been subject to about 15 million beats in my 2 and a half years of Trance addiction.

let's see, 136x60x580 = 4,732,800 over the past 4 months

considering i've been listening to "real" trance for 2 years and 2 months = 28 months, 4,732,800x7 = 33,129,600

and that doesn't include listening to cds, which would probably increase that number by 1.5

Actually, i have no idea. I've been listening to trance for, say, 3 years for on average probably about 4 - 5 hours a day (atleast, i'm probably very low on that estimate), so 4*60*136=36240

now 3*365=1095

1095*36240 = 39 682 800

i listen to edm about 3-9 hours a day (usually 5 hours a day)
so that makes
136 x 60 x 5 x 1825 = 74460000 Beats.
