Beaches in ONtario
Hey, I was just wondering if you guys now of some good beaches to kick it for a day.
Preferably there would be some sort of public transportation (i know of ashbridges bay, but I dunno if its again good) Or fairly close to toronto/gta area
any help?
Ashbridges bay is probably your best bet. I went there recently and I don't really like it. Kind of a dirty beach, but you don't really have much of a choice in Toronto.
Wasaga Beach is just north west of Toronto and is located on Georgian Bay. It takes approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get there. It's the worlds largest freshwater beach and even has a club....albeit Banana's
Screw Ashbridges and Wasaga.
One's hardly a beach and the other is so over-hyped. The two beaches I've become quite fond of lately are those at Sandbanks Provincial Park in Picton (gorgeous, with sand almost like the nice stuff in Florida) and Grand Bend (a bit smaller, but still fantastic) in Lambton Shores. The only thing with these two is that they're not in the GTA, but still, it's worth the drive. Sandbanks, being a Provincial Park, also provides ample camping space, while Grand Bend is more for a regular day at the beach. Either way you come back sunkissed and relaxed...
im going to sandbanks on the 23rd of august
gonna be a kickass day

I think Wasaga and Grand bend or anything on Lake Huron/Georgian Bay can be great.
There are many beaches (try Sherkston or one of the provincial parks for example) along Lake Eirie that are really nice aswell.
I recently went to Darlington Provincial Park too. It's near Toronto just past Whitby and it's a really nice beack too.
well... maybe we do a beach party up here soon.... we can set up tents of my big ass lawn
