Head_Honcho-Medicine-Vinyl-2003
trippy mexican chanting with birds screeching, very fresh.
ahh as a side note: lets try to keep this thread cheese free, thank you.
Great tune
First heard it when Markus Schulz played it a few months ago! Argh... I have to order it now!
Anyway one of my fav tunes is still Kate Bush VS Infusion - Running up that Hill! The break kills me every time I hear it
I hope James Holden - A Break In The Clouds (Markus Schulz Reconstruction) will see a release (don't think it will though). Such a great track. That bassline is awesome and the melody makes me smile even more. One of my favourites right now.
alright, i know ill sound n00b here... but how is prog interesting? with most songs i feel like i listen to the same thing over and over again. with Sasha's stuff like airdrawndagger songs like magnetic north and wavy gravy, i feel like its just really chilled out music, with not too much change during the course of the song.
can someone explain to me how i need to listen to the song, in order to fully appreciate prog?
oh yeah, im gonna get ADD right now.. and listen to it

Originally posted by ampburner well...you have to understand, it's an acquired taste. in other words, if you don't like it, you shouldn't force yourself to listen to it. just listen to the stuff you usually listen to, and for variety, throw in a deeper track or mix. Eventually it will grow on you or it won't

Originally posted by DaveSaenz That's what I used to think. It is kind of like a form of "ADD" that you grow out of (or don't). It's hard to describe hehe. After a while you (uaually) open your mind to other forms of EDM. This usually even occurs within one subgenre of EDM (e.g Alice DJ --> good trance). These tracks owned me last night: 01. James Holden - A Break In The Clouds (Markus Schulz Reconstruction) 02. Avril Lavigne - I'm With You (Leama & Moor Remix) 04. Markus Schulz presents Elevation - Clear Blue ![]() I've been buying too many trance records, and need some more progressvive records.

Originally posted by Djeebie Well when I started listening to prog I didn't focus on any thing. With prog it's hard to focus on things cuz very often there's not a recognizable melody or whatever thing to focus on. I'd say just put it on and do the usual stuff you do when listening to music. It's more like a continious ride with no such big breakdowns as trance. Prog has a more consistent flow than trance (just like techno can have). And don't think you will like it after a few listens, it could take some time for you to fully appreciate it. Start off with some progressive trance maybe... That's the way I see it
