Paul Oakenfold - Trance Of A Lifetime

For those who dont know, this is a new oakenfold track that will be featured on his new mix cd to come out soon. For everyone wondering what the FUCK that remix of Li Kwan - Point Zero he has been playing, its this! Yes, I know.. isn't that weird? It isn't Point Zero 2003, its PAUL OAKENFOLD - TRANCE OF A LIFETIME!

So there you have it, check it out!

it's not the commercialism, just the fact he spends less time in the country that made him big than anywhere else, plus the evolution in his style from 97-99 plays which were godly to sets now that have sent me to sleep, just a waste imho, on what he had. You'd barely realise he played cream as a resident for so long, we dont see him hardly now

ya i feel u, maybe he doesnt love you guys?

Posted by UWM on Jul-29-2003 00:06:

Gid you get this one on acetate too like you did with Marco V's remix of 'Third Earth'? And did the b-side have Paul Oakenfold - Gladiator on it?

that's all well & good, but i'm evolving from a trance bitch into a tech-trance bitch

I hear under 100 ppl turned upto marco v in atlanta, and the set is awesome, feel really bad for himf or that, the guys great, but ppl didnt seem to care

Posted by Resnick on Jul-29-2003 00:15:

he better play this when he comes to toronto, i still havent heard this

anyoone know what the cd is called?

Posted by jdat on Jul-29-2003 00:24:

he's just an american now

living in LA and all Partying with the stars and stuff

what a loser

Posted by Orko on Jul-29-2003 01:33:

well im glad to hear he is producing again, after people reviewed bunkka soo poorly.

i hope he drops it during his set in Toronto too. really looking forward to that set. i know he is getting back on his trance train, and gonna be big again. well when was he not? even if people dont like him, they still talk about him, and that can only help him.

he tours a lot out of europe cause he gets so much support in asia, and america

he wants to go where the crowd will appreciate him.

Posted by Omegasox on Jul-29-2003 01:50:

Does he still draw big crowds? Comparable to Tiesto & Armin?

Posted by Dmatrox on Jul-29-2003 01:54:

Oakenfold wants to have america more exposed to the electronica scene. Hes not focusing on england because it has a well established dance music scene. Thats what he said in an interview a couple years ago.

What's wrong with that? Sounds pretty damn fun to me!

Posted by trippennuts on Jul-29-2003 04:14:

Yeah, I figured it would contain as the rush comes, since he ALWAYS plays it live lol. I dont have much info on the CD except it comes out September 2nd and its called GREAT WALL. Which might have something to do with him playing on the Great Wall Of China? I dunno. I figure it will be 2 cd's because its a $25.00 cd.

And I am almost SURE he will drop it in toronto. As well as Size Triple D - Nobody Listens To Techno and Yahel - Butterfly (Unknown Remix) <--- because he is in love with them ATM

peace
-Andrew

thats because of the british press, here he finds stuff more diverse and harder to reach.. whish is what he likes, while over in Europe is more of like "the trend".. hehe
Anyways. I lvoe the tune.
By the way, Oakenfold may suck lately because of his abusive alcohol drinking..
