A question for those familiar with the System VIP DJ set up...

What kind of mixer is it?

Can I mix in my headphones if the monitors suck?

The mixer in the VIP room is a Denon mixer if I remember correctly, 3 separate EQ's for each channel (High, Mids, Lows), no kill switches, you'll have to use the knobs manually to kill the EQ's.
You can listen to the mix in your headphones if you want, and you may want to do that as the monitor is really f'n loud lol!
The reason being that it's being used as a monitor and a speaker for the crowd.

Yes, that's why we are having the 4th TA invasion at Viva nightclub on Sept 5th! Winners of the conest, ezekiel is running, will open up the night for DuMonde at Viva. I doubt there will be any sound problems there

Although I imagine at Viva you don't want techno. That's fair.

For the opening acts any genre will be accepted. The decision will be based on the raw skill of the dj and not the genre! So anything goes but it must fall in the house-prog-trance-techno category.
