phish fans are annoying me

so i went to a phish show last night (i used to be a total phish head). i put up a full review on another board but that is not my point here. one song they played was twist, with a real spacey jam which i found boring and lacking direction.

so i go on a phish board and i see that there is a post that says "Techno twist" and they are saying that the twist jam had trancey elements. i at first got really confused and irritated that they were tyring to claim phish played techno last night. besides the fact that it didnt sound like trance at all. i guess there is no point trying to explain it...

butterfly, please tell me you have heard:

Andain - Beautiful Things

if you haven't you must have been living under a rock or something, even though the single is still unreleased, it's still mega popular in Mix CDs like tiestos Nyana etc. and there must have been 500 threads about this song..

and before that was Andain - Summer Calling which is wicked too.

Anyway, i can see where you are coming from with the phish thing, obviously it's not really trance or techno, but they said it had trancey elements right?

Same as we would say a house song with a little bit of guitar in it, might have Jazz elements, but a true miles davis fan would slap us silly for it.

I used to be a phish fan too, they are pretty cool, if your into smoking joints the size of magic markers i guess.

Ah phish,

I remember my days as a total stoner listening about a rock climber and all...

wow. those days were a blur. I couldnt tell you tho about the song, i havent been to a phishfest in about 4 years. I was attempting to go this year (now that Trey is no longer flying solo) but the tix sold out and i didnt feel like shelling out alotta dough to get some tix there.

Every venue here (in and around Chicago) sells out within 10 minutes of the start of sales. Ticketraper litterally gets it up the arse when Phish (or Trey) comes to town.
