Everyones FIRST heard track!
What's up everyone, eXo here, I was just wondering if anyone even remembers, what thier first electronica track was.
My first one was Sasha - Xpander (Original Mix), made me feel as though I was underwater in the ocean.
At first i didnt care when I saw same threads over and over...now its really annoying. Not trying to get on you, but use 'search'.
First track that got me into 'electronic music' in general was Miles - Children. I got into trance with Tiesto and ISOS1 and with Sasha & Digweed Northern Exposure series I got into progressive.
Yes, you ppl should learn to use search better. There already are soo many threads with about the same subject. But anyway, i have two or three options to choose from because i can't remember exactly which was the very first electronica track i heard. It was back in mid 80s.. So it must be one of these:
1. Westbam - 17"
2. Kraftwerk - Autobahn
3. Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene
DJ Taucher - WinterLove
just lazy I 'spose =)
Antiloop - Believe
Paul van Dyk - For an angel
I don't know, probably something on the radio. Without realising it actually was electronica. I remember when they played Thunderball: "Bonzai channel one" on the Belgian national radio. It was in the national top 30! I can't believe it myself as I think of it. How the hell did that happen en what where people thinking?
De Niro - Evolva
Has this type of thread been made to death, or is it just me?
Gouryella - Ligaya

Probably the first track I actually recognized & enjoyed was sasha "wavy gravy" but thats prog huh :-D It took me another six months to find this site (i found it from kuffdam's site
). I browsed the boards for about a month then i registered Things have been good since..
Not really sure....
but probably James Brow is Dead
or maybe something by Lords of Acid???
but probably KLF, or Snap or Technotronic or C&C Music factory
stuff by Jean Michel Jarre etc..
I think the first electronica song I listened to was Underworld - Born Slippy, but I also listened to a lot of Fatboy Slim and Crystal Method junk at the time before I really got into 'good electronic music'. From there, I discovered Sasha and Digweed via napster
, then I discovered tranceaddict (I think i found the sites' tag on a digweed set in winamp) and began my education about trance and other quality electronica. If it werent for this site, I'd probably still be listening to rock and the first results that come up on kazaa when I type in 'techno' or 'rave' THANK YOU TA
Robert Miles - Children (!)
Kaycee - Escape
DJ Jean - The Launch
