Amazing songs from films
My fave atm is Hans Zimmer - Thin Red Line - Journey to the line
Absolutly rocks me emotionally, download this, its a brilliant piece of classical music.
Although the movie was pants for the most part "Fluke - Zion" is pumping (although IIRC its actually a tune that was just renamed and edited a bit for the video)

i know, this will be answered easily by someone.
But was there a song made from the tune from Requiem for a Dream? I loved the song itself, and could only think of what a remix would sound like.
Paul Oakenfold - Zoo (something, I forget, like park or something)
It uses the melody from Requiem for a Dream, the Kronos Quartet pplaying the classical parts I believe. The original is by Clint Mansell who also did the sound track for Pi (same director as Requiem for a Dream).

Paul Oakenfold - ZooYork is that song...
Anyhow Bubbles - Bidibody Bidibu from Super Troopers, I bet no one's ever heard of that one! And also I finally watched American Pie 1 for the first time in forever and I hadn't known where Calling your Name appeared in the film but it's where Nadia is making the guy strip, hehe, they left out the pretty melodic parts of the song tho which was too bad
There is a remix album for Requiem for A Dream, I saw it in my local record store. Oakenfold, Delerium, and some others.
*Paul Oakenfold - Zoo York
*Craig Armstrong - This Love
*Des'ree - Kissing You

*James Horner - Braveheart OST
*The Last of The Mohicans OST...
if u like the dramatic mind-numbing aural journy that soundtracks takes u, you might want to check out: Dave Seaman - Back To Mine. its not a soundtrack but it is just as theatrical & atmospheric and creates an amazing soundscape. it would make for one hell of a sountrack for some movie.

John Williams - Darth Vader Theme
its so cool
im addicted to the lord of the rings music myself....
hans zimmer - gortoz a ran
from the blackhawk down soundtrack
truly beautiful.
zimmer rarely puts a foot wrong although
parts of the gladiator soundtrack was a
total rip-off of the planets suite by
gustav holst.
Best use of a song in a film....
Cruel Intentions, right at the end when Sarah Michelle Gellar runs outside and Bittersweet Symphony kicks in
That moment just completely makes the movie!
Same with Born Slippy in Trainspotting - used to perfection!
And in Kevin & Perry Go Large .. they walk into the main floor at Amnesia and Lange - Follow Me starts caning
omg
Thomas Newman - Any Other Name
(from american beauty)
definitally the most beautiful track i've ever heard in my life
Not a full film
Well, as beautiful peices of music are concerned, I've got one which is not from a full movie. The BMW films first season, the one called Chosen. The peice of music that is right when the driver gets back in the car at the end, and looks at the gift, omg! I want there to be more to that peice, but not available.
Also, Unbreakable has good music. the part where Bruce Willis carries Audrey up the stairs is called Carrying Audrey and it is sweet emotional music.
And Cast Away has really good music as well, when Helen Hunt runs after Tom Hanks' jeep in the rain. Phenonemal peice right there also.
paul oakenfold - zoo york
Ride of the Valkyries (not sure on spelling)- its the bit in Apocolypse Now when they go in for that chopper attack, its classical i know but its jus perfect for that moment
